Driving from Cinque Terra to Civitivecchia to pick up our cruise ship, we happened to stop in Albarese for an overnight stay. What luck for us to have stay at the Il
Duchesco. Fabio and Cristina and family were so gracious and welcoming. The private room with separate entrance was immaculate and spacious, and the bathroom was great with warm water and all amenties.

Let's talk about the gourmet breakfast that was made special by the chef that runs their restaurant. We didn't want to leave.

For a few days stay, this is the place for you. Please don't hesitate if you are in the area, you won't regret it. Great accomodtions, warm welcome and terrific breakfast.
We are going back this summer.

Fabio is a very nice host. We enjoyed our stay, because of the friendly host Fabio, the very nice local food you can eat only a few metres away from your appartment, the good beds, the beautiful 'quiet' nature and last but not least the high quality wines and olios of Fabio. The only thing we had problem's with: moscito's!
