“Great for a relaxing break.”

We had a brilliant break in this excellent property. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable, with the main lounge being light and airy and a good room to just chill out in. The facilities were good and there was even a barbecue, although unfortunately it wasn't quite warm enough to make use of it. Our young grandson particularly liked the fact that the cows from the next field would come to the fence and look in at us! He and our two dogs enjoyed the enclosed space to run around safely outside the cottage. We were right next to Castle Ward with its numerous walks, and close to Strangford with a couple of good pubs and restaurants. We also enjoyed a lovely meal at Daft Eddy's at Killinchy, looking out over the water.

Spacious, clean, warm and relaxing accommodation with all necessary amenities for a family short break. Large site for kids to burn off excessive energy + additional excitement of daily visits from local cattle! Within walking distance to Castle Ward with its many attractions for young and old, energetic and cafe seekers. This is a good spot to visit and explore Strangford Lough and surrounding areas.

Me, my husband and 9 other friends stayed here in April 2014. We were greeted by Derek, the landlord and what can I say... a true gentleman!

The house was lovely and great space. We all loved the wood burning fire and gave a homely touch. We loved it was right I the country side and we're able to play tennis on the courts :).

We were just down the road from Downpatrick and the locals a great.

No fault with this property at all, definitely want to visit again! Thank you all so much.
