We very much enjoyed our stay in this spacy and tastefully decorated cottage, especially the superb views on Strangford Lough and its wildlife. The name ‘Seal cottage’ is not just advertising, we spotted many deals and other wildlife, to the delight of our children.
The cottage is also well located to discover the surroundings and just an hour drive from Belfast.
We really loved our stay in Seal Cottage, plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. The cottage was well equipped, clean and tidy and had everything we needed, a real home away from home feel. The large garden with beach were a highlight for us all. The kids also loved playing pool in the evenings, when they weren't beach combing for sea glass or seal watching, using the binoculars or telescope so thoughtfully provided. The location was perfect, also plenty to visit in the area- Castle Ward, Mount Stewart, Inch Abbey, Murlough and Killard Point Nature Reserves. Belfast is only an hour away with many more attractions, we really enjoyed the zoo and the Ulster Folk Museum. We would love to come back.
Stayed at Seal Cottage for a week with 4 generations of our family. A great cottage with plenty of room for dining and relaxing. The garden was perfect for my grandaughter to run around in and the cottage is very well equipped with everything needed for a great stay.
Wonderful location right on the beach. Seals visible virtually all the time, and the view changes with the tides. Brilliant house for extended family to stay in, the pool table was a great touch on the upstairs landing. Lots of things to do nearby, but we didn't do very many of them as we all wanted to hang around the house and surroundings. Very well equipped house, would love to return.
