Booked a table for our friends birthday. The restaurant doesn't look much from the outside as it's next to the main lake side road and the exterior looks a bit run down but don't be put off as you don't hear any road noise from either inside or the veranda (there is another balcony area next to the small car park but that's mainly for casual drinks). The veranda overlooking the lake is a really nice setting and staff are helpful, attentive but slightly chaotic which was probably due to our poor command of Italian! When we arrived most of the tables outside were taken but customers started moving inside as a storm appeared over the Campo dei Fiori mountain - we stayed out until almost the last moment as there was a nice cooling breeze and it's such a great vista. This is mainly a fish restaurant and so between us we had a selection from the menu - my sea bass was cooked to perfection although there were bones so you need to be careful - it came with fried potatoes and also ordered a nicely prepared side salad which was more than ample for two. Our friends were disappointed with their choice of Chianti Classico but happy with the house red! - so guess it's down to personal taste.
