We were anchored off South Water Caye and had dinner at the resort. There is a menu for each day, lunch and dinner. We had a fabulous dinner of soup, curried snapper, salad, and rice with dessert. About $30 US. It was one of the best meals ever! And I cannot say enough about the best Pina Colada I've ever had! The island resort is very well kept and the staff is great. We went back the next day for another Pina Colada before leaving. I highly recommend. I have a friend who stayed here for 4 days and loved it. Snorkeling is also good.

We stayed 2 nights. We picked this place due to its proximity to an amazing reef and the fact that it was purported to be the most beautiful island in Belize. We were not disappointed! It was relaxing, beautiful, with a very nice staff. We stayed in Heron's Hideaway, which was comfortable and romantic with great views. During high season they probably get a lot of day visitors to the island, but it was pretty chill when we were there. To get to the reef you have to swim through quite a bit of sea grass. It is truly incredible once you get out there, though.

We did one guided snorkel, and it wasn't my favorite because the guide was on the abrasive side. We were treated like children! But the reef and fish itself were incredible, we went to a place called The Aquarium. We also spent a little time enjoying their kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

All in all, it was a terrific resort and I definitely recommend this place! You can access an amazing reef and enjoy resort-style amenities!

My son and I spent six days on this amazing, quiet little island. True paradise. The accommodation is clean, on the beach (no other option!). Beverly could be a chef anywhere in the world. She prepared phenomenal and creative meals. Leonard was always there to help with advise and we had many interesting conversations on a variety of topics. Alton took us snorkeling and was knowledgeable - and patient - constantly stopping and pointing out coral and animal species. All in all, we would go back in a heartbeat!

We are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 girls 14 and 16. We were taken from the main hotel at Dangriga by boat to the island 30mins journey. All I can say is wow. We were greeted on arrival by Leonnard the manager. We were given a cool drink and biscuit told about all the facilites then shown to our beautiful duplex cottage with idyllic views out to the ocean. Basic but immaculately clean. No AC but ceiling fans and with the patio doors open a cool sea breeze blew in. Hammocks on the balcony and on the beach plenty of sun loungers and lots of shade under the palm trees. We were the only ones staying so we were really spoilt. Kayaks available at your leisure. Snorkelling amazing the water is so clear. Alton was the inhouse expert who gave is a detailed lesson on our first afternoon. Kit available for use if you don't have your own. We watched the sun set each evening at the look out point with a G&T and were treated to stingrays swimming close to the surface close to the sure.
Food was excellent served by Kevin. Set menu local cuisine delicious.
All the staff so friendly and our 3night stay was so relaxing couldn't fault it.

We had a very nice stay st Pelican Beach. It was great to be able to snorkel from the beach. We also went on a couple snorkel excursions. Our guide was awesome. Beyond snorkeling and sunbathing, there isn't much else to do there.
