Stayed at the Willow 'N with my family for a local wedding in Ashcroft, taking over the entire house for a weekend, one that ended up truly being special. The location and set-up is perfect for families with a large gathering space downstairs attached to a game and TV room overlooking the grand Thompson River valley. All the bedrooms were spacious and the set-up perfect with either an attached bath or shared bath. The views from the deck and veranda though, across the immaculate and well maintained gardens and overlooking the river valley made this a truly special property though. We could sit out on the long summer nights for hours...and we did. The views, however, were topped only by the gracious hospitality of our hosts Pache and Patricia - truly special people that made us feel very welcomed and part of their family for the weekend. The breakfast surprises were also an added bonus, the Eggs Benedict and gourmet french toast options are not too be missed (Pache's omelets are dang good as well though!). Already trying to come with an excuse to come back. This was by far the best B&B property and experience I have enjoyed and wish only that others could learn from the Willow 'N ways.

Room Tip: Take some time to enjoy the tranquility of the garden and views from the veranda. Encourage everyone to sit out and enjoy the sunset on one of those long summer nights.

My wife and I stayed here while attending the Langley Loafers car show/drag race at the local track. We found the setting to be very quiet and peaceful with gorgeous grounds, quaint decor and a beautiful view. Pache was an excellent host who did a fabulous job of looking after us and making sure we were comfortable. He also made a great breakfast. My only slight issue would be that it was extremely quiet except for the trains in the valley that seemed to pass through every 30 minutes or so during the night; I generally like a bit of white noise so I will be bringing a small noise generator (you know, the ones with the sounds of creeks, forests, birds or whatnot) which I think would have made for a more restful sleep.

Housekeeping was spotless, lots of towels and sundries. I would recommend the Willow N and plan to return when we find ourselves in the area.

Room Tip: there are two upstairs rooms straddling a washroom (if you book a private washroom as we did, then the adjoining bedroom is not rented) and the same setup downstairs. In addition to these 4 rooms, there is one larger room with an ensuite downstairs (gallery room?) which is what I would ask for the next time around. All rooms have doors to the beautiful outside deck and patio.

My sisters and I returned to the Willow 'N for the second year in a row. We live in Williams Lake, Prince George and White Rock so the drive is pleasant and easy for everyone. We returned because we love the gardens, the comfortable beds, fresh coffee and the delicious breakfasts. The pace of life is slow and relaxed in Ashcroft; we went to the nursery, for a hike in the dry sandy hills, filled with blooming cactus's and to the Bonaparte winery in Cache Creek. It was a pleasant weekend and we'll be back. I highly recommend the Willow N for a getaway weekend.

Room Tip: I believe all the rooms are lovely. They all have a doorway to the relaxing and lovely gardens.

We came from the Okanagan with plans for spending a leisurely day to go down the Fraser canyon. Ashcroft seemed like a good stopping point. Wow, what a surprise to have this big beautiful B&B to ourselves. An amazing location on the desert-like hillside looking down on the river, railroad and quaint town. The view from the large yard and beautiful gardens, or spa, is breathtaking. Inside has a pool table, TV lounge, sitting areas and kitchen area, providing ample space and entertainment. The host was lovely as well - decor beautifully set out by his wife, lovely comfortable bed, and beautiful omelettes for breakfast! Most definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed here for two nights while visiting friends in Ashcroft, and were impressed with the location, views and all facilities. Everything was spotless, our hosts were helpful but unobtrusive and much of the time it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Inside the common rooms are spacious and well equipped, and the willow furniture is made by Pat and well worth a closer look.

Mostly we enjoyed the changing views of the desert hills around Ashcroft, and the immaculate lawns and gardens around the Willow'N. The hot tub was much appreciated too!

Breakfast was relaxed, we watched our hosts prepare it while we sipped big mugs of fresh coffee. Started our day feeling well fed but not overstuffed, fresh fruit, juice, and a hearty omelet the first day, excellent Eggs Benedict on the second.

And the bedding was soft & comfy, we slept really well and heard the distant occasional train whistle in the night - just like home!

Room Tip: All the rooms are lovely, we choose The Gallery which is the largest room and has a private bath. Summers are hot in Ashcroft but we stayed cool in this ground floor room, and enjoyed the big patio right outside our door.
