I will warmly recommend this place for the comfort and the kindness of the hosts. One of our best place during our summer trip. Breakfast is good, with fresh croissants filled with chocolate and marmalade. We arrived very late around midnight and they support us in finding their house by phone. Very good stop before exploring ETNA.

Our hosts were beyond fabulous. Cappucini and fresh breads every morning. For us gluten free folks, there were great options, which was both unexpected and delightful. The house is comfortable, with lots of space. We were the only ones staying so had the entire apartment available to us. One of us had friends over to talk one night and the rest of us didn't hear anything. The location is close to Etna a must see in Sicily. In addition, there were fabulous small coastal towns to check out. Down the street was a great restaurant that served gluten free dinners and lunches. Highly recommend.

We stayed two nights at Villa La Ginestra. It's perfectly located for visiting Mt Etna and Gole dell' Alcantara. Vincenzo and Grazia are charming and helpful. While their English is limited, they will bring in their daughter to help translate. She does speak French and with my high school French and hers, we were able to communicate very well. Great for families--they have a room that sleeps four, one that sleeps two and two rooms that sleep three. The rooms are big enough to bring in rollaways if you need them. Highly recommended.

The pros:
1)Strategically close to etna
2)Very calm quiet clean and relaxing location
3)Very kind and hospital personnel
4)Very good breakfast (with fresh local pastry/ treats picked up from nearby pastry shop)
5)A real "feel like home” B&B with good value for money

Opportunities to make the B&B even better:
1) Offer possibility to have breakfast before 8h00,for example with a reduced self service offer, also ok if without fresh pastry.
2) Stronger Wifi signal reaching the rooms (our room was with low signal hence slow navigation)

The rest was all excellent!
