This met our requirement for romantic seaside dinners under the stars. We especially enjoyed flying fish “cutters” (sandwiches), grilled mahi sandwiches, seafood pasta and chicken curry. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious.

Having chosen the hotel’s breakfast plan, we followed my sunrise beach jogs with coffee, orange juice and scrambled eggs, omelets or French toast here and watched the area awaken.

Was quite surprised by the affordable menu and the tasty dishes. The only thing I would of liked to have more sources for my fish dinner and salads I love dressings.

We can only comment on breakfast though the lunch and dinner menu looked good too. Had breakfast today, I had an omelette and my wife had cereal, yogourt and toast, and we were very impressed, the best value we've had on the island so far. We would highly recommend that you stop in here on your way into The Gap.

This was our second visit and we would come more often if we lived nearer. We have to make a special effort to drive the length of the island but it is well worth it. The menu is very imaginative with some unusual (for Barbados) dishes. We have only had lunch here but were assured that we could have ordered from the massive breakfast menu at any time so we will have to try that next visit!

It is a lovely spot to sit and watch the turquoise waters of the bay with the boats bobbing about and to accompany that view, we recommend Cove Bay's superb rum punch, one of the best we have tasted. This last visit my husband enjoyed a well filled club sandwich and I had the veggie panini which was great.

Do not be put off by the location of the cafe within the Yellowbird Hotel poolside area. This place is open to everyone, not just hotel guests. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed!
