Being regular visitors to Ikos Oceania and Olivia, the impossible always seemed to happen. The Oceania has new changes, extra infinity pool, new eating areas, heated pools and the new extended area which overlooks the pools, sea etc.
We were so lucky with the weather, hot all week. The restaurants provided excellent range of food, love the Bolgogi at the Asian...mmmm. The place is so clean, wonderful staff, must give thanks to Maria (again), Savas, Vangelis and Eva at the Deluxe Bar...ok all the staff, they are so professional and will move the earth to satisfy your needs.
Never be in doubt of this hotel...looking forward to visiting yet again to check on the refurbishing work on the rooms which is earmarked for the end of the season.

Ikos (home), we salute you....

Room Tip: All rooms are very acceptable....

Ikos Oceania has thought of everything. Staff are really friendly and helpful the restaurants and food is great everything included I mean everything even bikes and pedalos mini bar re stocked everyday. Maria General Manager was really helpful and approachable as we changed our room nothing was too much trouble we had booked a junior suite (which is actually a double room) so you will need to upgrade if you want a separate bedroom we did as had a 14 year old lad with us. Katarina in the French Restaurant was so on the ball and was very attentive without being a pain
Even the beach bar toilets are spotless Well done to them all. The only negative which isn't against the hotel is that there is nothing outside of the resort but if you just want to sit back, relax and let the world go by this is the place.

The public areas of this hotel have just been refurbished and are lovely. They say that the rooms are being updated next year (I can't see why, they are ideal already).

We booked through Travelzoo and paid £1050 for a week all inclusive, in clouding flights for a family of 3 (albeit, slightly out of season....first week in April). It looked like it was the first week of the season and some of the staff were still finding their feet.

However, all the staff were excellent, polite, helpful & mainly English speaking. The hotel is not quite what you expect in Europe, its more like one of the hotels in Dubai (which is a good thing).

The food was good in all the restaurants but we mainly stuck to the buffet as we have an 8 year old. The weather was nice (especially for sunbathing) but the pools still needed to be heated. It would have been ideal if they were 1 or 2 degrees warmer though. The sea is far too cold to go in at this time of year.

The grounds are well maintained & the whole place is very clean. The nice touches that pleased us most were:

1) The free in room mini bar which is re-stocked daily.
2) 24 hour a day room service.
3) Free bike hire (ideal for going down to the local market on a Wed).
4) Table Tennis/Pool/Air Hockey/Tennis/5 a side football to keep the kids busy.
5) The spa/jacuzzi/steam room/gym area is ideal for when the clouds come over.

All in all, a fantastic place. I would go back at the drop of a hat if I could get it for that price again.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have a sea view but the best views rate in the higher blocks.

Having read all of the reviews we were expecting quite a slick operation. Our hopes were exceeded. ALL staff were very friendly and appeared constantly motivated. Food was excellent. Rooms were clean. Facilities spotless and entertainment good. I won't say more as many others have said everything that needs to be said.

We never return to the same hotel twice because... Its a big world out there, but we are tempted to do so at the Ikos Oceana.

We have recently returned from a week at Ikos Oceania and what an amazing week.
All the staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble and Maria office manager went out of her way when I had a problem with my arm. The room was spacious with a great views and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Restaurants were fantastic really enjoyed Asian Nickos was wonderful, Christos in the province restaurant was superb we had breakfast there every morning thank you Stella for our morning coffee and juice. Manios the young man changing our towels and fetching us drinks everyday by the pool at the Provence restaurant wonderful too. We would recommend this hotel if you want to be pampered and completely spoilt truly a 5 star resort. Thank you all for making a holiday to remember and we look forward to returning in the near future.
