Historical location in the middle of Normandy, in a very charming village that kept its heritage alive, the Hotel de la Licorne is a piece of History.
Nice efforts for the decoration, between antiques and a Flamant furniture catalog!
In the room, though, quite disappointing. Simple and elegant decoration, nothing much to make it special. Framed pictures from the village or the hotel a century ago... the main issue stands in the door and the very average lighting, that you specifically suffer from during rainy days. The lighting in general is limited, both in rooms, corridors, etc. The bathroom was comfortable, yet with limited amenities.
This average feedback is totally compensated by the young, efficient, dynamic, attentive and welcoming staff everywhere in the hotel and at the spa, the spa in general and the very generous breakfast.More
