We were looking for quick lunch and found this very basic, but beautiful place with a terrace. Self-service is the concept and the charm of the place - you pick your food inside, pay and take it outside on the terrace and enjoy. Simple, authentic, tuscan products...just what you need for lunch on a hot day.

Si forse siamo ancora ( per fortuna) veri, semplici ed autentici...in un mondo complesso a volte sono caratteristiche rare...
Grazie!

Go in, order a panini or a plate of delicious goodies from the counter, take it out to the tables and enjoy.
Inexpensive, good quality food with much to recommend it over a more formal lunch.

If you happen to be in lovely Bagno Vignoni at lunch time or if you feel peckish, do not hesitate to visit the little shop-lunch area.
Their products are really good, the owner and her daughters are so lovely and if you are lucky enough their sweet cat Issi will join you for lunch dozzing off the chair next to you.
I was that lucky and had lunch there every day of my stay.
They also have wi-fi

We were staying at a remote home, and after a big lunch, did not really want to come back to town for dinner. We decided to stop in here.

Picked up a nice bottle of wine, several salamis and cheeses, some olives and mushrooms, and made a picnic of it back in our bed&breakfast. Everything we chose was delicious, and it made for a perfect light meal.

The food offer in Bagno Vignoni is wide, but Cacio is a different story.
Few tables outside the small courtyard, all kind of tuscany jewels (pecorino, prosciutto, finocchiona...) and red wine.
High quality food and relax.
A must for your visit. Prices mid-high.
