From the welcome to the last sip of wine, everything was perfect. The outside terrace is a beautiful setting, tables are well spaced, staff are excellent. There were 6 of us so we tried all 3 tasting menus-seafood,meat and vegetarian. They were all delicious.Often, top restaurants do not live up to your expectations but Arnolfo far exceeded ours.Highly recommend.

This restaurant is located on a fairly steep and reasonably busy one way street inside the city. We were lucky to score one of the free car parking spaces (marked with white lines) along the side of the road about 50 metres further down the hill from the restaurant.

We were met at the door for lunch by the Maitre'd who is the brother of the chef and shown to our table in the main dining area which held no more than 7/8 tables.

There were 3 different summer tasting menus plus a la carte. The tasting menus each contained the same amount of dishes and were the Contemporary Evolutions - basically seafood at €160 per person, the Essence of the Land - basically meat at €140 per head - and the Vegetable Architecture at €120 per head. The benefit of having the same number of dishes in each tasting menu is that one person can have the seafood and another the meat. Indeed, there was a large table of people next to us and people at that table had all 3 tasting menus being served.

We both had the seafood tasting menus which consisted of a beautiful plate of long grissini plus some other bread, two separate servings of amuse bouche with 3 different tasters in each serve ie 6 tasters each in all followed by 5 main dishes, 2 desserts and Pettit fours (6 different delights each). All of the dishes were beautifully presented and quite delicious.

Extensive wine list. The glass of sparkling as an aperitivi was €15 euro as was the glass of dessert wine offered at the end.

Service was exceptional - rather formal but all of the dishes were well explained.

Would certainly dine here again.

We had the set menu including mainly fish and were not disappointed. Service is perfect and the owner is a pleasure to talk to. The outdoor terrace we had dinner in was just fantastic, as it is the location. Good wine list with reasonable markup. All in all, a very pleasant dinner.

A group of 9 of us when in late June, on a Monday night, to Arnolfo. I had the Essence of the Land tasting menu. All of it was quite memorable but the stand out dish was the The Pigeon of Laura Peri. The wine list was expansive and the service was spot-on. It was a major reason that this trip to Italy was so memorable!
