We stayed in a Superior Extra room on the 9th floor, and it was just outstanding. Clean and nice, and what a view! The breakfast was very good and one of the best we have seen in any hotel.
Very friendly and helpful staff, especially in the restaurant. Sandnessjøen is a small town, and the hotel is just in the centre, close to the shops and the Hurtigruten Terminal.
In the same building you now also find the Sandnessjøen Cultural House, with the library and the community swimming pool.
And our Superior Extra room also had supefast Wi-Fi.

Room Tip: Get a room on the seaside, and we recommend the Superior Extra

Rooms are poor equipment. Only 7 tv channels ( nothing for kids, no news channel), dirty windows, no iron, no fridge. Only bed- that's all. Typical equipment for 3 star hotel. On the other hand : one of the best breakfast I have eat in europeans 3 or even 4 stars hotels. Do not recommend this hotel for more than one night.

First, the receptionist told us to wait to get our room (even if we arrived at 14.00), and after that, she just ignored us. After an hour we asked her if our room was ready, which she said it was not. Then, we sat down again and she continued to ignore us. 30 min later, we asked her again, and then, she happened to have a room. Our room was not properly cleaned - it was very dusty and the windows needed a good cleaning. The breakfast was good, but I would not recommend this place.

This is a good hotel with convenient location. Most rooms seems to have sea view.
Breakfast is very good - as usual on Scandic hotels.

Room was nice and had all what is needed. Internet are excellent.
Staff is helpful and service minded.

The hotel is fine in most ways, the breakfast is very good, and wifi is realtively lousy. But with such a magnificent view, one could expect that the windows were cleaned. Not something I usually care about, but here they were just really dirty.
