Coffee aroma fills the air as we stepped into the cafe. We tried the chicken Italian, fish n chips, pork ribs, pan salmon and chicken kapitan. Mushroom soup is creamy and smooth and leaves you asking for more. Food are commendable but the drinks are just average. Don't want to contradict myself but the aroma doesn't translate into excellent coffee!! Food are well presented and the environment compensates for the lack of good coffee. Try some juices instead. Prices are on the high too. Worth a try if you are in taiping as there aren't that many cafes serving western cuisine.
Celebrated mother's day here and mom got a complimentary Carnation from owner of the shop. That's really warm. Cozy place perfect for family outing, and awesome food! Best Western cuisine in Taiping.
it is located along Kota Road near the District Office. they serve really good western food at very reasonable prices. the quality of the food is superb and the ambiance is soothing. Service is good and the staff are all attentive. Prices are high for taiping standards but in terms of quality it is worth eating.
We had a very enjoyable time dining here. The atmosphere is clean and cozy, and the air-conditioning was cooling but not too cold, a welcome relief from the usually hot weather outside. Food is nonetheless superb. We ordered their country pork chops and pork Cordon Bleu, and they were all very good and the presentation also excellent, just as good as what you'd get from a 5-star restaurant. We also ordered their pumpkin and mushroom soups, which were delicious too. For dessert, we had some of their excellent carrot cake and raspberry cheese cake slices, a perfect way to round up our dinner. Of course, if you prefer something more local, they have got a number of local dishes to try out like fried rice, which we didn't get to try.
Food is a little pricey, but for the quality of the food, their quick and hospitable service, and the comfortable ambience, it was worth every cent, especially since the restaurant is a family business. Highly recommended!
