“Lighting the lanterns on the balcony and watching the gorgeous sunsets with a glass of wine”
Reviewed 7 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Acharavi is a lovely little town with a nice pebble beach and great restaurants situated on the water front. Our favourite restaurants were Medusa and Fuego. Having three teenage boys we especially enjoyed hireing a boat from Kassiopi on two occasions for some swimming and snorkelling wherever we dropped anchor. We also thoroughly enjoyed the water sports in Sidari and a fabulous clifftop lunch in Canal D'Amour was a highlight. The villa was excellent. It is a 25 min walk from the town. Plenty of outside areas with or without shade with fabulous views and gorgeous sunsets. The accommodation was modern, well equipped and clean. The villa (including pool) was cleaned regularly and Spiros was on hand to help with any queries.
The only things we would comment on:
We would have liked the pool to be deeper.
The showers drained very very slowly - so much so that the next person showering had to stand in the water from the first person.
The wifi went down a few times.
However, we have fond memories of a brilliant holiday and would highly recommend Villa Fedrita.

“Perfection!”
Reviewed 15 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

This villa is everything you could wish for, for both couples and families. Very well equipped there is everything you could want on your holiday. You can relax by the pool or just sit on one of the many furnished balconies and while away the day. We watched the sun set from the balcony every night and it was stunning. The photos actually don't do the place justice it is beautiful, well equipped for 12 people and has all the home comforts. The villa is quiet and peaceful and in a perfect spot in the mountains. Lovely to see the goats every day and there is only the very occasional car passing by. Great to explore the local surroundings too and there are some lovely little tavernas away from the main resort such as Sunset Taverna which you can see from the villa. The pool is great for cooling off when the heat of the sun is too hot and the kitchen is very well equipped for self catering. Would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to return again.

Very lovely house perfectly clean ! Very luminous but don't worry air conditioning is perfect !
The swimming pool is well exposed to the sun and every day maintained, totally clean !
The owners are very friendly and answer quickly and pleasantly !
What a great surprise the little breakfast basket when we arrived !
The kitchen is well equipped.
Situation of the house is good, the north of the island is the more interesting !
None disadvantage to say, thank you for making our vacation perfect !

“Beautiful Views from a great villa”
Reviewed 26 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We stayed here in May, we are a family of 4 adults. The villa is great with everything you need. We arranged to meet Spiros at a local restaurant, and he then showed us the way to the villa. Views from the balconies were beautiful, you could see the sea in the distance. The villa is surrounded by olive and various other trees. You do need a car as the villa is situated up a steep narrow winding road. We hired a car so we could go out to other areas. You will need it to bring your groceries back to the villa. You can walk from the villa to the main street in Acharavi, this will take you a good 20 - 25 minutes. We would walk down in the evenings and get a taxi back. All the taxi drivers knew where the villa was situated. There is a BBQ in the garden and we used it on two occasions. The outside furniture is getting a bit tired, but this is obviously due to the weather which has made the furniture fade and become brittle. The showers in both bathrooms were not brilliant. In the ensuite bathroom there was no way of hanging the hose up so you could stand under it. The actual bath was very narrow so water would spray out everywhere. The other bathroom shower would only trickle out. The water though was always very hot. The pool was okay. Would not recommend for families as there is no wall around one side of the pool area and children would disappear over the edge. Great for adults.

“Perfect family home in a lovely location”
Reviewed 15 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We just returned from 4 night stay at the villa and I am so glad we choose this villa. The villa is exactly as advertised, I was a bit worried about the previous review about the tired furnitures, the house is very well kept but I understand what they mean about the patio funiture is just one set that is a little worn (I mean very little worn and you would expect when they're sitting out in the sun and heat) everything else was perfectly fine. We had a few BBQ's in the garden which was lovely. We didn't have much problem with bugs, perhaps is was still a bit cool and early in the season. All the windows and door have nets so that's handy if you want to open the windows and not to worry about bugs flying into the house, I also nice the owner have kept packets of mosquito candles in the villa (which I found it to be rather considerate) but we never had to use them.

The kitchen has everything you need and everything is in very good conditions, we arrived to find a lovely welcome basket which again can tell it was well thought out, We loved the greek yogurt spreed, infact we liked it so much, as soon as we returned to UK, we tried to look for some in the supermarkets :)

The road to the villa can be tricky especially on first visit, the house manager Spiros escorted us from the centre of the town so that made it ease for us and after a day or two we got used to it and comparing to other mountain roads in other part of corfu, we thought this is not bad at all.

I don't usually spend time writing big long review but I feel both the owner and the house manager Spiros have done a wonderful job in maintaining a well kept house and their hospitality to make us feel very welcomed, there was regular exchange of email to advise and made recommendations to us for our stay.

Thank you and we have been telling our friends and family how much fun we had during our stay and we look forward to revisit again soon.

Liked best: The location, the distant sea view from the living room window, the stars at night when all the lights are out - it was breathtaking, plenty of supermarkets on the main street,
Liked least: I tried thinking hard but can't think of anything
