Description: Hidden away behind the indoor market, Interlude Tea Room brings an ambience and quality not often found in today's busy times. Great food, all made and baked on the premises (including their bread), wonderful service and a chance to chill out before returning to the 21st century.

Not been for a while but was passing with a friend so we popped in for a drink although couldn't resist a homemade treat to go with it so we shared a caramel shortbread & crispy square both were amazing with lots of gooey caramel. Service and decor was even better than I remembered. Definitely won't be leaving it as long til I go back!!

Fave place to go in Shipley.

The staff treat you with amazing respect, they go the extra mile and are very understanding of young children.

We had jugs of juice for the kids given instead of individual drinks (we didn't even think of doing that!)
Extra plates for sharing, extra bread roll (incase little ones wanted to try!) with their delicious soup of the day.

This made our visit with 4 kids easier, relaxed, even when one smashed a cup, minimal fuss and refused to let us pay for it! I was quite nervous taking 4 kids but they made us feel very at home and we left with a wonderful experience.

This is real quality customer service, you're not just buying the food, you have an experience and it adds to the character of the tea room.
Apart from the food being beautifully presented and tasting amazing, just the service alone was enough to make me want to return asap and recommend it to any family with kids.

We visited this unique little café for lunch on Saturday and it was excellent. The food, service and atmosphere couldn't be faulted. We shall go again!
