Friendly and polite landlady and staff. Good beer. Scampi and home made chips are delicious. Will return.

Our first visit. Busy early on but much quieter later. Typical pub food menu, nicely cooked, sizeable portions, good service and reasonable prices.

Went here on our third night in the area and weren't disappointed. Good COVID-19 planning and the service good and attentive. Good was home cooked and lovely. The salad with my scampi was really fresh and plentiful. My partner had the nut roast which was also very large and moist and tasty. Great little village pub and find

Situated in the lovely village of Wray - a classic village pub - unchanged in decades. Serves authentic English ‘country food ‘ - wholesome and delicious!

We called in without booking and were served a top quality Sunday roast despite the understaffed kitchen having to deal with a large pre booked group in this not so large establishment. Delicious food served under pressure, the marque of a great establishment. Very happy to rate as a 5* experience and equally happy to recommend. Oh yes and...
Gravy to die for.
