The room is clean and comfortable but I have to give 2 stars because the room is far too hot to sleep (>26 degrees C), even with the window wide open (hello mosquitos!). The air con doesn't work and it appears the heating is on instead. The best I can do is turn the heating off in my room. I informed the hotel reception and they said it was Italian law to put the heating on in October (despite it being 20 degrees outside) and that they couldn't do anything. So I have not been able to sleep until the early hours of the morning with the windows wide open. 3 - 4 hours sleep before a business meeting is NOT acceptable. Other colleagues staying in different hotels in Gorgonzola and Milan all have working air con, so are the other hotels breaking the law? I don't think so...If they are, it's for a sensible reason for the comfort of their guests. I'd expect much more from a 4 star hotel. Very disappointed, tired and not feeling well because of it.
