Fabulous ! We had a lunch this August 2016 at the restaurant and were extremely happy with the cuisine, the location and the service. The restaurant is located in a very secluded area of Haute Loire, rather scenic and remarkably peaceful. The service was flawless, yet simple and not snooty. More important, way more important, the cuisine was beyond this world: a rare balance of craftsmanship, exploration of tastes and textures and excellence. We were a group of 10, with two children, coming from different places (Zurich, Paris, Washington DC). We had a set menu of 6 courses (including two sequential desserts), preceded by 4 tiny appetizers and concluded with coffee and mignardises, with wine. all of this for less than a $100 per person. The chef is highly inspired by Asian cuisine and sets the bar fairly high, making significant efforts to include some of that into a more traditional French set of items. The result is simply exquisite and we highly recommend this restaurant.
