We celebrated our daughters birthday here the evening of 31st March. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff looked after us incredibly well. We were not left wanting! Thank you all for such a lovely evening. We will be back.

I came here for a meal with my mum a few weeks ago, knowing how good the butchers its associated with is. I eat out a lot due to travel and going out socially, but not usually as fine dining as this.

There is no doubt that it is a lovey restaurant, with excellent service, (perhaps a bit too attentive at times), and that the food is interesting and very well presented. (i loved the way the quails was served in a nest).

Alas for me as a whole it wasn't what i wanted and left feeling that i had had maybe a taste of some nice dishes than an actual filling meal. I freely admit that i like big tasty plates of food and that this style of dining is more refined.

If you drool over master chef then this is the place for you, but i prefer a jamie oliver one pot mega dish.

Lovely place & very attentive staff Very few menu choices VERY small portions Poor dessert This restaurant appears to be trying to put too many flavours' together and spoiling the dishes. I felt hungry when I left and it is expensive to still be hungry
Will not rush back.

How pleasing it is to have such an excellent restaurant close to home. Visited last night for the first time and were treated to superb cuisine in an intimate atmosphere. Discovered that they are embarking on a special tasting menu on the first Tuesday in the month - we booked on the spot!

This place is a hidden gem, well probably not so hidden as many seem to have found it! Went here on a Saturday with another couple:- excellent greeting at entrance, warm friendly staff, limited menu choice but certainly not a problem. Starter of smoked Pork was excellent as was the Roe Deer, can't praise this place enough. Good atmosphere and highly recommended. We will return!
