Description: KHAW GLONG opened its doors in Chaweng in late December 2011. Our key feature is original Thai cuisine at its best only using fresh high quality ingredients without MSG and additives. When we started we were a rare thing in Chaweng where most restaurants targeting tourists were offering international fare more than Thai. Our lasting success has generated some offsprings… Tom Yum Kung, Shrimps with Tamarind sauce as well as our curries are definitely our customers favourites.

What can you do with a room 20ft by 20ft, turn it in to one of the best Thai restaurants i have eaten in,and ive eaten in a lot.Firstly alhough very small it was immaculately clean with wooden panelled walls,chairs & tables in excellent condition & wall mounted fans that kept it as cool as any air conditioned restaurant.The menu states at the beginning that everything is made freshly & to order & also informing you that you can have different levels of spiceyness from 0 for no spice to 3 which is thai spicey.The drinks selection is quite limited & wine is available from time to time,we ordered a green curry,minced pork with holy basil & steamed rice,all cooked freshly which took about 10-15 minutes to come which was not a problem,quality & taste of food was sublime.We were also served with a warm chocolate brownie to finish,yum yum.Would recommend this as a must visit when in chaweng

Small, popular little restaurant tucked in a small soi. Absolutely fresh and delicious food here! The food is tailored to you spice level and was well presented and authentic. Great value for money and i would dine here again no problem.

Wanted to go somewhere a little nicer for my birthday whilst backpacking. Found this little place through trip advisor and it was lovely. Food is super yummy and service splendid. Prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. Not overly focused at tourists like a lot of places in Chaweng. Would definitely recommend if nearby.
