Why did we leave this until our last night? Everyone said how amazing it was and we still didn't get to go there until now!
Well, we are here now having met Nikos earlier at our Trivizas Apartments and reserved a table for 5.
We were greeted with a brief Greek lesson, Retsina, Greek Cheese Pies and Bruschetta before we had even ordered.
The restaurant has small terrapins, budgies and traditional Greek music playing setting a very homely feel.
Our starters arrived and we shared various dishes including Saganaki, assorted traditional pita (cheese pies), village sausage and the spicy but amazing Feta Bougiourdi.
Mains next and the infamous Moussaka oven baked which lived up to expectations - word of warning it's hot! The besamel cream sauce was so very tasty. Meatballs on spaghetti lovely but such a big portion. All very good.
To finish a perfect evening, proper sweet and bitter Greek Coffee, Greek Yoghurt with honey and fresh fruit and Baclava.
Throughout the meal we were taken care of and regularly checked to ensure all was well.
Be sure to visit this restaurant well before you leave, so that you can go again!
