Our recent visit to this hotel was a little disappointing due to it being out dated maybe 15years behind with decor and rooms having old style tv old type divan beds which was very warn and frayed and very hard mattresses all though clean bedding we had course to move the beds and to our disgust we found it had not been cleaned for quite a while having found thick dust and old discarded slippers and strips of somebody's tablets we asked for extra pillows which we never got the pillows there where perthetic broken toilet seat hair dryer with no plug overall room very basic meals again very basic with very little choice the hotel is high up in the hills very quite and no easy access to any amenities no entertainment staff polite thanks to leonardo nice young man works very hard as all the staff if you want a quiet holiday this is the hotel for you

Room Tip: All rooms face pool and sea view

Stayed a week at this hotel. Nice and clean rooms. Also good space. Breakfast was ok but dinner was below bad. We chose not to eat at the hotel.
Pool area was good as well as the gym.
Services also good.

We stay in this hotel at the moment.
It's situeted on a very nice place with a marvellous view over the Atlantic Ocean.
The room is clean and big enough with a nice balcony.
The separated beds are big and good.
The airconditioning you really need and works good.
The personal is very friendly.
We will stay here for 2 weeks and that will not be a problem!

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was always good with a lot of variety. The breakfast was really good!! The room was perfect and was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay.
The gardens are immaculate and very well appointed.

Stayed there one week in two double bedrooms.
Pool area with lots of loose wooden planks. Dangerous for the feet. Pool always milky water and often dirty. Only 22 deckchairs for 33 rooms. Rooms with stained carpets and Sofa. Hall and floor very clean and shiny though. Rooms quite big and nice furniture. TV in rooms are a Joke. 42cm and the old ninetees style technic. Air conditions sometimes out of order. Breakfast is getting boring. Coffee always tasted harsh and strange. People friendly but incompetent - language skills not very high.
Hotel 5 min out of Ribeira by car. Walk along the road not recommended. Lots of farms around with barking dogs at night and roosters starting at four in the morning. Restaurant was not visited - evening buffet dinner for 19€ per Person.
