The hotel is beautiful . The resort situated at nice beach at backwaters seaside.
The room is very large and comfortable .
The hotel has a lot of free activities such as pedals boat.
The breakfast is very good .
The dinner is very expensive .

We stayed at Zuri Kumarakom in early February for 3 nights. Our first room was fine, except for a musty/mildew smell. Our second room was a cottage which was wonderful. Well stocked big bathroom, comfy beds, spacious, clean, and private.
Buffet was typical Kerala fare and all of that was fine...but we had been in the area for 2 weeks and wanted something different, so went to the "new" sushi restaurant on the property. We waited over an hour for our appetizers, and then the first course came 3 minutes later. The food was astoundingly bad - I don't think the staff have actually ever experienced sushi.
We did morning yoga, which was lovely, and the evening cruise, which was a treat. All in all, a gorgeous property, welcoming, and restful,.

Dear Guest,
Thank you so much for taking the time to review your stay - your feedback is valuable to us, as is your choice of resort.
However, I can certainly understand your disappointment with your dining experiences not being up to satisfaction and I will follow up with the Ex-Chef to re look and train the personal to perfection.
I am glad you enjoyed the service you experienced as well as the resort's location.

Zuri kumarakom was a wonderful experience in all aspects. Beautifully laid out resort with good rooms and bathrooms with all facilities. The bar was lovely and so was the restaurant. Excellent stay. There was a tea station in the room. Free Wi-Fi as well as toiletries. Only thing I felt that the lighting in the bathroom was too dim.

Visited the Zuri for lunch with family... we had the lunch buffet... the spread was very minimal... there was an acceptable selection of salads... but very limited main course and deserts... we didnt understand as we were expecting to have a five star quality buffet spread... later on upon asking we found out that on that particular day they were serving a mini lunch buffet... so it was a loss all in all... however i have to say... watever was served tasted good... Just a disappointing spread

Dear Guest,
Thank you for your comments. I am sorry the lunch buffet was not as expected.
Most guests in house were on sight seeings/City tours the chef took a conscious decision to keep the spread minimalist with offerings of cold buffet with live stations. Special requests from guests are made to order.
We do hope you will choose to return to once again to enjoy the service,as it will be our most sincere pleasure to welcome you back.

I visited the Zuri Kumarakom for 4 nights in month of February and booked 2 presidential villa. The room was neat and clean and had a private pool over looking the Vembanad Lake.

Property: It is a huge property with ample of in house activities.

Room: The presidential villa were spacious and had separate dine in area cum drawing area and bedroom. The interiors were done as rich Kerala architecture and represented the culture.

Dining: They have multiple dine in option with the property. And room dining was quick and promptly gets delivered within 30 to 45 minutes. I travelled with my infant and used to Request Customized food for her, which was promptly delivered perfectly.

Houseboat: They have a houseboat Laguna, which we booked out for lunch cruise. It was air-conditioned house boat with lot of food and drinks variety. The chef on the boat prepared both North Indian and Kerala Cuisine for us. The staff in houseboat were courteous and provided information around the lake as we moved around.

At last I would like to recommend two employees at Zuri Kumarakom. Mr Anand who handles there transport services promptly helped us and arranged transport for local site seeing and also for our trip to Munnar and Kochi. He was prompt in response and would arrange and recommend the best deals. The second person Mr Abhilash who organised the Houseboat lunch cruise for us. He promptly arranged the call with Chef and F&B Manager to understand our food and drinks requirement on the cruise and ensured we had a delightful experience.

Looking forward to revisit the property again and feel the magic!
