A really beautiful property with a wonderful, large swimming pool and super friendly, helpful owners and staff.

Within easy reach of Palermo, Monreale, Bagheria and Céfalu so days by the pool can be combined with sightseeing and beach time. Only had breakfast there (which was good) but could see that the restaurant was popular in the evenings.

Would highly recommend

Bed is comfortable Pool is perfect
We arrived at end of June and had pool to ourselves most of the time
Restaurants nearby are very good Use trip advisor and you will find excellent Sicilian food within walking distance

I would have liked to give Villa Cefala 4 stars instead of 3. The rooms both we and our friends stayed were spacious (2 floors with kitchen, large refrig, and eating table), clean, and quiet with comfortable beds. The grounds were stunning with swimming pool, orchards, and paths. The main villa was beautiful to see with an outdoor dining area in the villa's main courtyard. We stayed in the guest house outside the main villa.

However -- (1) the rooms had only 2 small windows that offered close-up views of another building (I saw that other rooms had similar small windows that faced away from those same buildings; their doors opened toward the orchards) and (2) we had to use the air conditioner due to concern for close proximity of roads and train track. But the real downer was the food that was over-cooked, not fresh (wilted salads), and served by a waiter whose certainly had another job at the villa and was only assisting the kitchen staff. If you stay here enjoy the courtyard dining only at breakfast.

Had great time. Traveled around area and used site as base. Pool was good the little we used it. Restaurant was excellent. Somewhat hard to find the first time to property. GPS did not have street address. Asked a couple on the street and they were a help. Lemons were in fruit and walking around farm was a plus.

Grazie for the lovely stay. It was a joy for me and my wife to spend our honeymoon here. We were picked up at the station which was a great help with our heavy bags. The room itself was well sized and very peaceful with a very comfortable bed.

We don't drive so stayed on site for the entire trip and enjoyed the on-site pool and restaurant. The staff were very kind and catered to our every need. The food is excellent and freshly made. The wine was a great accompanment and the desserts were stunning.

I would completely recommend staying but make sure you bring insect repellant as there are plenty of mosquitoes.
