The hotel is very great and clean, they have a good service and the food is amazig and very traditional. They have an aqua park and you can swing and have fun. I definitely recommend you to stay at Sandrini Hotel.

The Sandrini is a long-established hotel located in a quiet spot in the hills at Termas da Guarda, Tubarão, with pleasant views across the lush greenery and the local church from the terrace and the balconies of streetside rooms. As the road is a dead end traffic noise is largely limited to the very occasional truck from the water plant at the far end of the road. The hotel is five miles north-west of Tubarão.

Bedrooms have been freshly renovated in a simple style and include a television, fridge and free wifi (which proved very reliable throughout my stay). Plug sockets in the room are designed to accept standard Brazilian Type N plugs. Most rooms that I saw had a balcony with a couple of chairs and a small table – perfect for relaxing after a long day. Maid service could be a little erratic but was generally fine.

The restaurant in the hotel was open for limited hours in the evening (usually 8pm through to 9.30pm) but served up some tasty food, especially with a number of buffets that were arranged for our tour group. An extensive pizza menu is also available and those I tried were superb. Prices were quite reasonable.

Overall, the Hotel Sandrini is well-located for a stay in the area with friendly staff who always seemed happy to help as best they could (though for most of the time there was no-one around who could speak English). The surroundings are picturesque, though there are no convenience stores in the immediate vicinity (the nearest is a short drive away).

Room tip: Rooms on the street-side have a good view of the local scenery (whereas rooms at the back face a car park).

Room tip: Todos os quartos são iguais, mas acredito que tenham nos dado com o colchão mais velho e antigo do hotel
