I'd read about this place here on TripAdvisor so decided to try it out today. The 3 dishes we ordered (ravioli, spaghetti and pizza) were delicious and the wait staff, especially Carmen were fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant and this town (one of the less touristy places on the Amalfi coast). The food was reasonably priced and the tip we gave was well deserved! Thanks Carmen for helping us out with our accommodation too :)

Thank Kathryn H

The food at this restaurant is absolutely first rate. We just happened upon it during our walk up from our apartment in Atrani. Easily one of the best meals we had during our 2.5 week stay on Amalfi Coast and on Ischia. The fusilli di casa were spectacular as was the scalloped beef in lemon sauce. As others have said, the views from this restaurant are amazing, but really it's the food that makes it special. Doesn't hurt that the family is sweet as can be. If we'd been in the area for longer we certainly would have returned for dinner. A great day if you are staying in Atrani or Amalfi is to hike up to Potone in the morning, explore the area, eat lunch at the Antica Borgo, perhaps get up to Scala after, including the ruins of Sant'Eustachio between Pontone and Minuta. The Torre Ziro is also awesome and makes for a good part of the itinerary.

We arrived here on an Amalfi Drive Select minibus (organised through Thomson Holidays). We were somewhat hungry and were expecting a good feed. But what we received were the smallest portions of any restaurant we visited during our whole week on the Sorrento peninsular.

I suppose you could say this was a "free lunch", as it was part of an organised tour, but having paid €115 each for a ticket, we were expecting something special. The views from the terrace did not disappoint, and the service was fine. But the portions were miserly and the food itself not great. Two spoonfuls of fusilli in different sauces and a tiny delicia cake for pudding, some small bruschetta for starter.

The wine was undrinkable and remained undrunk, despite four people seated at our table.

I'm sure they have decent food here, because another couple on the (non-tour) table next to us seemed to have one of every dish on the menu on their table, and they were being regaled about the restaurant's vision by a person who I can only assume was the owner.

We were not so lucky.

We went to this restaurant as part of the Amalfi drive select tour. The food was basic but nice they do have a more extensive menu if you are not on the bus tour. The staff were good, a quick service was delivered wine, water, pizza, capresse salad and lemon cake to finish.

I liked this place so much that ended up Eating here 4 times. Most of the food is home made with locally grown ingredients and it taste amazing. They are extremely nice people, we asked them where we could buy some of the famous Amalfi lemons and the next day they gave us 7 of them for free. I highly recommend this place if you are near to Scala/Pontone
