Review of The Bailey Theatre

The Bailey Theatre
Ranked #2 of 20 things to do in Camrose
Attraction details
Reviewed 28 June 2016

Built in 1911, the Bailey Theatre is the oldest theatre in Alberta. Through dedicated volunteers and a lot of fundraising, it has been restored to is former glory. It is located at one end of Camrose Main Street which is an attraction in itself with its many restored storefronts and interesting shops. The theatre has wonderful acoustics, which are praised by the many performers who include "Old Bailey" on their tours through western Canada.

Listened to the axe murderer and the harpoonist. Very good music. Had a blast.
Again an evening out at the Bailey was great and I tip my hat to the Camrose grassroots mucic society. Well done

Went to the Rod Stuart tribute. Small venue but a very historical building. Sound was great. Friendly staff. Prices for a glass of wine & beer were reasonable.

This was my 3rd visit to the Bailey Theatre since its refurbishment. What a grand place with excellent atmosphere and acoustics.
The band was excellent and the way it was laid out allowed for a informal round table grouping.
They served alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages throughout the evening.
This is a great addition to our community!
