“Wonderful Villa”
Reviewed 5 August 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Excellent, comfortable, extremely well equipped villa. We spent nearly all our time outside or in the brilliant pool. The inflatables were very welcome as was the welcome pack. We had a very minor issue with the TV one day and Jo and Adam arrived within 30 mins to fix it. The directions and instructions were clear so we had no dramas finding it which is a first for us! We knew roughly the location of the villa so knew it was a reasonable walk into town. Only a 5 min walk to bar 21 which is lovely for a drink and food but with a limited menu. We had a car and used local taxis on a number of occasions to go out in the evening. The air con is excellent and immediate so you only need to use it occasionally. By the end of our stay we were referring to it as 'our villa' as we felt so at home. We did not want to leave and will certainly be back . Thank you.

Thank you for such a lovely heart warming review. SO pleased that you had a great holiday and found the villa comfy. Jo and Adam are so efficient looking after the villa and are rapid responding when guests contact them. I feel very lucky to have found them. We look forward to you to revisiting Villa Tamanaco in the future. All the best :)

“Stunning villa, but wish we'd hired a car”
Reviewed 20 July 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Just home from a 2 week stay at Villa Tamanaco with two children aged 9 and 6. The villa was beautiful, very clean, plenty of space and lots of outside spaces for dining and a lovely pool to swim and play. Felt very private and secluded. Pool was well maintained and kept clean, bed linen and towels were changed after a week, but there was a washing machine and clothes line too. This was a very well equipped accommodation, especially the kitchen, and loads of books, jigsaws and games to keep everyone amused. There were also a couple of inflatables and noodles at the pool, table tennis etc - kids were never bored! We were given mobile number for the couple who clean and maintain the villa and messages were answered almost immediately, and also prompt replies with lots of information from the owners in the run up to the holiday.

Being Scottish we needed to use the AC to be able to cool bedrooms enough to sleep at night, but thankfully there were units in all bedrooms as well as living area. We had to pay extra for aircon but was only around £20 for 2 weeks occasional use, so not too expensive. This was worked out and our deposit refunded within 2 days, so very pleased.

Moraira itself is a gorgeous town with amazing restaurants, shops, playparks and beach which are a 15 minute walk down hill from the villa. We (especially the kids) struggled walking back up the hill to the villa in the heat and it took 30 minutes, especially with shopping and bottles of water. There are also limited public transport links out of Moraira, the only bus service goes to Calpe (service auto buses Ilfach L3) and is infrequent, and to go anywhere else you need to get a taxi to Teleuda train station. I would absolutely stay here again but definitely hire a car next time!

Thank you for such a great review - so informative for other guests. I guess with 2 small children it must take longer to walk back, especially when it’s very hot! At least the hilly bit is quite short. Taxis are readily available to help get shopping home. We would love you to visit the villa again. Enjoy the rest of the summer :)

“Gorgeous villa and pool only 10 minutes from beach”
Reviewed 23 June 2017 for a stay in May 2017

Super relaxing week at Tamanaco in the glorious sunshine. The gorgeous villa is very clean and well equipped with a fabulous pool and terraced garden. Moraira is only a 10 minute walk away with a lovely beach and great shops and restaurants. It's also ideally located for day trips to Calpe and Benidorm (we did both). Best of all though is the beautiful beach at El Portet, perfect for paddling, swimming and kayaking and less than 30 mins walk. Fab holiday = chilled mum and happy teenagers. Would definitely go again!

“Lovely holiday villa”
Reviewed 6 February 2017 for a stay in August 2016

We've stayed at a few villas in Spain and this is the best so far. It had everything we needed for a family holiday with two small children and we really liked Moraira. Thank you. We will be booking again.

“Nice Villa in Moraira”
Reviewed 28 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

A somewhat quirky villa, in a very nice way. Set about a 10 min walk from the main centre.
Villa used to be very private, unfortunately a block of apartments have been built alongside this villa, with balconies overlooking pool. This was not an issue for us as the apartments were not in use. Not the fault of the owner, but there was building activity opposite the villa with a large crane operating, the only disturbance was the crane starting up with an alarm going off every time they used it. All in all the building work was not obtrusive.
The villa is well equipped, and when an item did not work (on arrival) it was replaced the same day.

I am very disappointed by your distorted/misleading review. You make it sound as if there is a row of apartments directly overlooking the pool. In reality a spa hotel has been built on the other side of our neighbour's garden. It is not 'alongside' our villa. There are 2 balconies - one either side of the hotel, at 45 degrees to our villa, so only the edge of the balcony has a glimpse of one end of our pool. The hotel is clearly closed & unoccupied & will not be opening this summer. Maybe it will never open due to the financial climate in Spain.

I understand there is some building work nearby - but again it is not 'opposite'. It is 2 villas and a road away. I am afraid building work in Spain is on going. I do apologise for any inconvenience it has caused you. Building work is not permitted between 15 July & 21 August, to protect tourism.

Our managers will check the sofa - bizarre as we do not accept dogs.

I am pleased that you enjoyed your holiday, & hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather now you are back in the UK. Frankie
