Make sure you book a room on the lake not on the road. Their only family room was on the main road and was sooo noisy. Rooms are very basic but clean. Lady at reception very frosty initially but warmed up. Wifi dropped out from time to time. Great location on the lake. Food famtastic.

My wife have stayed at this hotel two summers in a row. If you are looking for a simple hotel where you will spend more time on your balcony than in the room, look no further! Swim in the lake, enjoy the restaurant, watch the paragliders, and enjoy some wine. Make this your secret budget/boutique hotel at the quiet end of the lake!

We must have gone at the wrong time of year because this was one of the only hotels on the lake that we could find that was open. 90 euros per night with 10euros for breakfast they certainly knew about it! The hotel has beautiful views and this is what you pay for. The rooms are out dated as is the hotel. It was more of a hostel then hotel. The rooms were smelly and damp and basic and anything. At times I was worried about standing on the balcony.
However the owner was very friendly and helpful. You can see is works very hard and takes pride in her work. If I stayed here again I would not pay for breakfast however again the owner remembered our drinks from the day before and was very good with there presentation etc.
go for the views but so much more could be done with this place

We chanced upon this hotel by accident and we're so glad we did. Situated right on the lake front we had a room with a balcony overlooking the lake and the mountains; a spectacular view. The hotel may need a bit of updating but that did not detract from the kind and friendly service and really good food.
My only gripe would be about the towels that were provided; but I found this to be same wherever we stayed in France, including 4 star hotels; .... the towels were tiny, well washed, worn thin and so they felt as if you were drying yourself on a brillo pad!
No lift available so be prepared to climb 2 flights of stairs.

We drove past this white waterfront hotel and decided it was where we would like to stay - fortunately there was a room available which was comfortable. The views from the balcony were beautiful - the mountains, the lake with its white swans gliding by. The dining room was superb and dinner and breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a 2 star rating but our room was very comfortable and the beautiful views made up for any shortcomings. We have stayed a few times over the past years and would gladly return again another time - it's situated on a beautiful lake and Annecy is not too far away. This gem of a hotel is certainly on our "stay again" list.
