Stayed here for 12 nights in June. Very peaceful location within easy reach of nearby restaurants and supermarkets etc. The apartments are all very nicely furnished and well equipped with all you need for your stay. The sea view from our balcony was stunning. The owners Jerry and Christine were very kind and thoughtful. We found some of Christine’s homemade cake and marmalade waiting for us in our room when we arrived, and Jerry picked us some apricots picked from his trees. Evie the cleaner looked after us very well too. If you are looking for a place to relax, where all you can hear at times is the wind and the sea, then this is the place to come. Really enjoyed our stay here, and hope to return. If arriving under SAT NAV the coordinates are 38° 07' 09.700'' N 020° 36'.44.600''.

We have just returned from our 9th or 10th visit at Afrato. Again even although it was the height of the season it was still peaceful and relaxing. The apartments are kept spotlessly clean and they have great views over to Zante. The pool is fantastic and if you are lucky you can have the whole thing to yourself. (although in all the time we have visited, it has never been what you could call crowded) Again great views.
Jerry and his wife Christina always have a warm welcome and thank you Christina for the cake and home made jam left in the fridge in the apartment.
I highly recommend these apartments if what you like or need is a relaxed, peaceful chilled holiday.

We returned from Afrato 1 week ago after visiting for a second time. This is the first time we have ever been back to the same accommodation, and were very happy we had. Jerry and Christina are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble, feels like home from home! Christina's "sweet treats" are amazing!

Rooms are spotless, spacious, air-con inclusive, with stunning views.
Pool area is beautiful, again immaculate, with breath-taking views of Trapezaki bay one side and Mount Ainos the other.

We hired a car this visit, which enabled us to experience the beauty of the island, and we would recommend this, as there is so much to see.

There is a hilly walk to various tavernas (all of which are lovely), supermarkets and beaches, but it is do-able! On an evening, after great food and wine, it's very pleasant, and mostly down hill!!

There is a small bus that runs between local villages and beaches a few times a day for 1 euro.

If you want relaxation, at a picturesque, traditional location, then visit. We will be again!

I have stayed in Afrato village for ten days, from the 21st of July to the 1st of August. The atmosphere at the village is very relaxing and it has an amazing view on the sea. But unfortunately the wi-fi doesn't work and the sea, even if is below the village, is very far from it because there's a very long street to travel to. It has another little lack: you can't watch the italian television. However the place is very good but you need a car to move around and i suggest you to rent it by internet and don't take taxis, because they are very expensive.
Mr. Jerry, who's the owner, is a very good and helpful person. The village has some defects but it's a good one and we enjoyed our journey.

p.s: at the start of the street to go to the village there's a wonderful horse, sometimes give him carobs (there are lots of carobs trees there) because he's very friendly.

We spent 10 days at Afrato Village in July 2014. We've been a group, made for more families with more children.
The villa has a great location in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the sea from both the rooms and the garden. The garden is large, very beautiful, and Jerry and Christina (Afrato Village's owners) make great efforts to maintain high standards. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with air conditioning, TV, fridge, and stove for cooking.
The pool is very clean, very large space around it, many umbrellas and sunbeds. There is also space for barbecue and a lawn with grass always green and freshly mowed.
In the area there are car hire desk, several supermarkets, very nice taverns at walking distance of Afrato Village (can be reached in 15 min). There are several sandy beaches close to the villa.
Jerry and his wife, Christina, are among the most helpful and friendly people I have ever met. We enjoyed conversing with them in some nights in their lovely garden. (By the way: Thank you Christina for delicious cake that we've given it!).
I kindly recommend this location, maintained by these wonderful people Christina and Jerry, so if you travel alone and if you travel with children.
Surely we will return to this beautiful place.
