Stayed one night before a business meeting - i could not fault this hotel and I stay in many as part of my job. It was exceptionally clean; and so quiet. Plenty of parking and the receptionist wa polite and helpful. Very quick check in and no concerns at all during my stay.

We are staying at this Premier inn tonight. The staff (reception/restaurant/bar) are the friendliest. Nothing is too much trouble. Lovely food too. Would recommend this place to anyone clean rooms in a quiet location. Wonderful

Very clean, nice quite location. A nice walk from hotel into Dalkeith to catch bus into city, combined journey took between 40 and 60 minutes. Had a meal in adjoining restaurant on night of arrival, very poor, would not eat evening meal there again. We had breakfast there which was ok.
When in Edinburgh saw 3 shows. Funny stuff for Happy People which was great fun, great family show. The Little Prince and the Pilot, which was a kids show, children were bored, it wasn't for us. Circolumbia which was brilliant all family loved it, fantastic experience.

A good motel chain good room, parking and restaurant however we were charged a premium for the Saturday night despite booking months ahead, other members who stayed at same hotel booked later and got it cheaper. Recommend you download the map as you can get lost coming off the bypass.
Good location for visiting Edinburgh or the Scottish borders

Situated just off the A7 ideal stop for a few days to visit Edinburgh. We found it very comfortable and had a quite sleep. All the staff are very welcoming and make you feel at home. The Restaurant , Bar and Lounge are situated a few steps a way across the car park ( Esk Valley) Food very good and friendly staff. The breakfast is also served here with an excellent buffet plenty of choices and if you wish to have a full breakfast thewaiter will take your order. I will certainly stay here again when next visiting Edinburgh.
Only draw back in order to get to the Restaurant when it rains you will get wet before you get there. May I suggest a covered walkway between the two premises would be ideal

Room Tip: As it is only a two story building and no lift and if you have difficult in climing stair ask for a...
