“Amazing Tapas”
Review of The Wild Caper

The Wild Caper
Ranked #7 of 48 Restaurants in Seaton
Description: A small restaurant in the heart of Seaton. We serve a wide range of Tapas and make changes to the menu each month so you can assured of variety! Our desserts always include a small selection plate where you can try a selection of 5 small dessert samples! We are fully licensed with a range of fine wines. We also use locally sourced produce whenever possible and our meat comes form Norman's the butchers next door. This is an eatery with atmosphere and great ambiance. We also offer a cocktail menu every Friday night. Booking recommended

Went in on the off chance at 6pm and we were lucky enough to get the last non booked table and I can see why. Great food and very reasonably priced wine. A great little restaurant

This is a small restaurant but the atmosphere and decor suit the intimate space. The tapas is delicious and the menu is adjusted regularly which is great when you go back as often as we do. The food is freshly cooked and the flavours and combinations manage to give a varied and unique twist to traditional recipes. We have not tried the pizza but if its as good as the tapas I'm sure its excellent too. The only drawback is that it isn't open on Sundays except in the busiest part of the summer season.

We’ve wanted to visit the Wild Caper for a while... and we were super impressed! It’s a non-pretentious, gastronomic delight which is a pleasure. As an amateur cook I was bowled over by new flavours and mixtures of the Med. A triumph and a new jewel in Seaton!

We decided to try The Wild Caper for a birthday meal and we certainly weren't disappointed! We each had tapas and one member of our group was vegan, which this restaurant catered brilliantly to. All of the tapas dishes were brilliant and of a decent size. We had 11 between three of us and that was more than enough. Nicely decorated and a good atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening. The staff were also very attentive. Overall, a brilliant experience.

The Wild Caper has a very welcoming ambience about it. When you are passing by, it invites you to "look in". When we asked if there was a table for two (we hadn't booked), we were advised that there was a table available, if we were prepared to wait a little for our food, as they were just accommodating a party of ten. There is plenty of choice both on the food & drinks menu & the menu is changed every month! My Partner & I ordered six of the Tapas dishes, the food was piping hot on arrival & was delicious. The service received was extremely professional & very friendly - nothing too much trouble, In addition we were not rushed, into making our decision as to what we would like to eat. This is also a good value for money restaurant. A lovely evening out. Thank you.
