What can I say about this amazing holiday let?

First of all please totally ignore all your pre conceived ideas that your Sat Nav knows better than Pat’s local directions, she is correct and her directions will get you there.

So you drive up and you get the keys, then you drive around the corner and you see the most beautiful views peace and quiet. Then you go into the property, in the kitchen the table is set for tea, fresh cakes (in our case fresh baked scones, jam and clotted cream). There were beautiful fresh flowers (as a hay fever sufferer they were beautiful and didn’t make me sneeze at all).

Downstairs there is a kitchen with a sofa to sit in; a twin room made up with lovely crisp linen and a bathroom with a bath and shower containing soft fluffy towels.

Then upstairs a lounge with Books, DVD’s and a TV, soft comfortable sofas and there is a covered balcony overlooking that wonderful view again. Then there is a shower room and a lovely double bed again that crisp linen and soft fluffy towels.

Imagine a boutique hotel? Or, a home that you had always wanted to live in? Well this is what you get. Cleaner and tidier than home, not as big, but with all you need for a week. The oven and microwave are good quality; there is a fridge freezer – big enough for a week and the supermarkets deliver. The property has under floor heating; pure bliss.

I loved my week there and would willingly go back again, so tranquil and away from everything. You can walk to Rosemarkie and visit the beach café if you don’t mind walking uphill.

The only negative I could find was the rain and some utensils needed to be added. Pat said she would do this immediately.

I am so sorry that I have waited 4 months to write this review, pure pressure of life & work etc… As long as you don’t pick the week I want to go, visit; you will come home rested and relaxed.

“Absolutely wonderful”
Reviewed 18 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Had the most amazing time! From the moment we arrived to some fresh scones and tea cups all laid out by the wonderful pat we knew we were onto something extra special and the rest of the holiday certainly disappoint to boat trips trying to find nessie and historical trips round cullonden battleground to dolphin spotting at channory point and the wonderful walks around the area we were certainly spoiled for choice and to cone home at the end of busy days to such a beautiful home certainly made the trip even more special absolutely 10/10 would highly recommended.

“Amazing views - lovely apartment”
Reviewed 20 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Pat provided us with directions, which were easy to follow, enabling us to find the property without any trouble. We walked in the door and immediately felt at home and were welcomed by four scones, butter, jam and clotted cream. There were also beautiful flowers in a vase on the table - these were very highly scented though. The apartment is very well appointed and the views from upstairs were fabulous. We enjoyed our stay very much and travel into Inverness was easy for supplies and around the Black Isle for scenery and lovely villages. We saw dolphins on 2 consecutive days at Chanonry point - make sure you check for low tide times and they will arrive 'approx. 1 hour later'. The weather was not that kind to us and with it being a little remote, the wind really howled at times. The chairs and table shown on the patio near the front door were not there but it would have been unlikely that we would have been able to use them this time. I also would have liked to have some cleaning sprays etc to clean sinks/loos after use.

“Beautiful, comfortable family accommodation with lots of 'wow' factor!”
Reviewed 23 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

Fantastic central spot for a holiday - you can reach pretty much anywhere in the Highlands for a daytrip from here. We received a lovely welcome at Reyflat Barn which is a joy to walk into after a long journey and our daily stresses just ebbed away within minutes of arriving! A lovely, comfortable, well-equipped and spacious place for a family holiday, set in beautiful countryside with fantastic views - we loved it and will be going back! We would not hesitate to recommend Reyflat Barn - thank you Pat for a blissful holiday!

“Great property to stay with young children and a wonderful location to explore the north of Scotland”
Reviewed 24 February 2015 for a stay in February 2015

This is a wonderful property to stay with young children it is spacious, warm and has excellent facilities. Rosemarkie nearby has a good beach with a childrens play area and a community cafe. There are lovely walks nearby up to the waterfall at Fairy Glen. The barn is also well located for some great road trips to the mountains at Aviemore and the splendid beaches on the west coast. Can't wait to stay here again.
