This restaurant is really superb. Except for the romantic location and view has a creative and inspired chef and a maître able to transform a meal in an emotional and tasteful experience of pure pleasure.
We loved the Paccheri di Gragnano al dente with amatriciana sauce and the crispy bacon. The tortelli with ciauscolo cheese on the lentils and black truffle sauce were both delicate and tasty, but the contrast made by the sweetness of the fennel and the bitterness of the black olives from Gaeta on the Turbot fish fillet deserved a wow!
The pairing of the wines and the delicious desserts we had: the millefoglie and the coffee soufflé made this dinner memorable.
If we would be in Umbria again, we will have a "pit stop" for sure in this gastronomic paradise.
