We were there with my wife 7 years ago and we decided to visit this place again. This place never lets you down, I must tell. Idyllic location, friendly staff and owners make you the part of their family. Daily newsletter on the table in the morning with recommendations for the day (tours, programmes etc.) and even weather forecast. Nice rooms, really special meals (buffet) and all in affluent quantity. The surroundings (Dachstein region) are amazing. Worths visiting!

Room Tip: Room with balcony overlooking the garden with pool and the mountains. Packages are great value for money!

We stayed in the hotel with our little daughter. We had splendid time while pampered with great service and soooo tasty food!
We had nice room with great panoramatic view.
Summer card is included in stay so you can enjoy wide range of activities.

We will come next summer for sure :-)

The hotel location is not far from ski area. The area around is quiet. If you want to take day off from your exercises, you can go to Salzburg (1 hour driving). The hotel itself has good leisure infrastructure: swimming pool, saunas. The food is excellent.
Definitely it is not a place for young kids, rather people looking for silence.
Our room has a view on mountains. Although room could be a bit bigger and the bathroom is 2 stars maximum. There was something wrong with air circulation. As result it was stuffy.

With my family we've spent a week there around Christmas of 2014. Even if I've been in many hotels around the world - that one is really great! It's a family hotel, located in Weissenbach near Schladming.

Hotel location is great : you are near to the any of the lift starts of the "4-mountains" and Dachstein. We din't had the chance to go to Dachstein as the only day, when it was out of maintenance the wind was too strong and the lift was stopped.
The hotel is located 1-2 minutes by car from Hauser-Kaibling lower lift station; Reiteralm is the most distant peak - +/- 15 min by car. There is even free bus passing near the hotel and going to the ski zone, although we've never used it.

The hotel has a separate small house holding all ski equipment (ski & boots) just in from of the main entrance - a very convenient approach to avoid guests to haul their equipment elsewhere. Moreover you take your ski-boots warm in the morning.

In any part of the hotel, no matter if it is the reception, the room, the restaurant, the lobby... everything is well arranged and small decorations are added in order to make you feel at home. The team takes care to make everything perfect.

The room was spacious with a small balcony looking on Hauser-Kaibling - really great view. The room itself was well furnished - we were 3 and we've had enough place to have our ski clothes in the room without bothering us. The furniture was made of wood and was creating a cozy atmosphere.

We took the half board. Breakfast and dinner were excellent! A lot of choice for each taste, no matter what do you take on breakfast you'll find it there (ok, if your breakfast is caviar with champagne you will miss both). The dinner is similarly full of choice. Beside numerous salads, cold sausages, fillet, each evening there were 2 hot meals - for example one evening we had the choice between deer and duck meals, combined with 4-5 types of garnish. French blue cheese lovers have their corner. Everything was very tasty.

WiFi : available for free in the lobby and the restaurant. By chance you can catch it in the rooms as well

Hotel lobby is great - you can have a glass of Glue Wine for "after-ski" - the Glue Wine is very tasty and I would recommend it. Of course any other drink is available - the weissenbier shouldn't be underestimated neither ;-)

Hotel price and costs inside are reasonable - for example Glue Wine 6 EUR, big weissenbier 5 EUR. According to my humble opinion the prices are similar to everywhere else around Scladming. We've never even thought about supermarkets, even if there is a BILLA near to Hauser-Kaibling lift start -everything was available in the hotel.

The hotel has an indoor pool - we didn't test it - although even in the coldest days we heard, that children are playing there. It seem that the pool cam become outdoor in the summer.

In brief : really a great place, where it worth to come again! A place, where you can take a rest, without bothering about the details. (FYI there was a family from the Netherlands, that was coming for the 37-th winter - impressive, isn't it?)

Room Tip: with view to Hauser-Kaibling
