Charming, lovely spacious room. Great service. Good base camp to visit Ephesos and Pamukkale. We loved the village of Sirince. Both the hotel and the village have a lot of ambiance. It would be perfect if it had a swimming pool, everything else is just great.

Room Tip: our suite in the 1st floor was gorgeous

We fell in love with this little place in Sirince from the moment we laid eyes on it!

Set on the hilltop along winding cobbled streets, overlooking the scenic mountains, with a tiny, quaint village just a stroll away below, everything about this place feels timeless and dreamy. What a perfect setting for couples. Our Lavanta room was cosy and charming. And the staff here are really friendly, helpful and hospitable, especially Hakan who sweetly goes out of his way to make you feel at home.

Take a short walk down to the Sirince market below and try the local fruit wines, they're delicious! The best we had was at Kaplankaya Saraplari and we even bought back 4 bottles to bring home.

If you need to get down to Selcuk town, just take the minibus to the station below. After that, it's a nice long walk to Ephesus if you're up for a little workout.

We found Sirince a dream of a place to stay in rather than busier Selcuk if you're visiting places like Ephesus and the Virgin Mary's house. You get all the romance and charm up in the hill, whilst still being close enough to the town below.

There are many B&Bs scattered around Sirince but I would definitely choose to stay at Markiz Konaklari again in a heartbeat!

This is a lovely hotel, with beautiful rooms and, from our two suites (we are a family of four), great views over the town and beyond. The only quibbles we had were lack of drinking water in the rooms (almost standard in Turkey) and a reasonably noisy (and late) dinner below one of the rooms (which was only a nuisance because I wanted to open the windows at night to enjoy the hills air).

Food was really good (and excellent at the small place next door run by a delightful couple who seem associated with the hotel in some way).

Recommended.

Room Tip: Yasmin and Markiz suites have lovely views over the town.

This place lives upto its name of being a boutique hotel !

Sirince as a place is full of ups and downs and Markiz is probably the topmost point of this quaint little hillstation. I fell in love with the place, the people and the food...

It cannot get more romantic than this...Not a single room is similar to the other and each one has a small piece of souvenir from the people who made this place happen. Food is served either in the small wooden-interior restaurant or in the sunlit garden outside the central restaurant.

There is a small gate that you can climb down towards that leads you to the exit of the hotel into the small by-lanes of the Sirince Market area.
Get yourself acquainted with the streets that lead to and from the market and hotel, because the beauty of Sirince is to explore it on your own....you will need landmarks !

Choose to try out the local food at the small places in the market as well---if you are ok with experimenting with food, otherwise the hotel serves a good spread as well !

I woke up every morning to the sound of the rooster and the birds chirping....I will definitely go back !

Room Tip: 1. There are 3 bungalows and we had the bungalow at the top. Tip for travelers here would be to opt...

This B&B was fantastic. We were concerned about finding it amongst Sirince's narrow, winding streets, but there were signs everywhere and the hotel staff parked our car for us overnight. We stayed in the Yasmin suite - absolutely adorable, fireplace, great clean bathroom, four poster bed, great views of the town, our own bathrobes and slippers etc.

Hakan was our receptionist/guide/waiter during our stay and was utterly delightful, helpful, and accommodating. The other staff were incredibly nice and detail-oriented. He arranged for us to eat dinner at the hotel, and we had a wonderful home cooked meal. We sipped wine and asked them to build a fire in the main lounge which they did. Hakan explained to us out to take a stroll through the town, and made recommendations on other stops as we left the hotel to continue our roadtrip.

Completely endorse this hotel - after a day walking at Ephesus, this is a way better option than going back to Izmir.

Room Tip: If you can afford it, the two suites on the property are the way to go.
