Knew nothing of this little place, perfectly situated right on the Mediterranean,. a boutique Hotel, small and perfectly formed. Our spacious room had a seating area, good for a longer stay, was quiet and very comfortable, kept in immaculate condition by friendly cleaning staff. All the staff are so special , friendly and kind, management, and every person we encountered on reception, during our 6 day stay, they went out of their way to make our stay an experience we will remember always. A small restaurant on the premises has top class food, and the Hotel, serves breakfast and a very nice lunch. Walks in the vicinity are numerous, Santa Marinella is a little gem of the true Italy, close to the Cruise Port of Rome, and on the rail line ,with services to simply everywhere.. We hope we can return one day, or that someone we know could also have that pleasure.A highlight of our time spent in Italy.

Room Tip: Sea view would be good, but all rooms have very nice outlooks. It is in such a picturesque part of the world.

This is a nice little boutique hotel. Friendly, English-speaking staff. As of July, 2017, the seaside pier was still dismantled, with only the rusted infrastructure standing. In the guest lounge area, seaside, a railing had been removed from the stairs and was being painted directly behind our chairs. No complaints with the room, but the seaside amenities are in significant flux at the present.

Hi Tallsprite,

thank you for having dedicated your time to us .
The still dismantled pier in July depended on the permission we were still waiting from local authorities.
Anyway sunbeds and umbrellas were guaranteed to all our guests.
As far as the railing removed and painted you don't even imagine how much impact has a coastal storm to all the seaside amenities; it happens therefore that we have to repaint everything during the season pretty often.
Hope that you will spend your time again here in the future.

This boutique hotel is situated next to the ocean. We had a balcony room, which was very clean and comfortable. The staff is amazing and the views are even better. The little "beach" area (without any sand) is awesome and you can order drinks and food while you get some sun.

I was traveling with my family between Sorrento and the mountains of Tuscany and decided to stop halfway at nice spot along the coast. I checked out many places but the Hotel Villa Delle Palme seemed great. It was only for one night but I booked 3 deluxe sea view rooms, all with balconies overlooking the sea. I wanted to surprise my family with the great spot that I found and had great hopes for this big surprise.
When we got to the hotel, parking on the street was limited but we got a perfect spot right in front of the hotel. It was a little tricky finding the entrance to the reception but once that was found things went well.
The staff was extremely friendly, spoke good English and once we brought our luggage to our rooms we came back down and were given a tour of the hotel grounds.
Our 3 rooms were extremely varying in size and on different floors. All were very clean and nicely designed though. We all changed and went down for a swim knowing from the pictures online that there was a beautiful bathing pier with sun chairs.
Surprise! All that was there was an ugly rusty metal structure where the pier used to be. The amount of sun was limited around this time in the afternoon so we asked the lifeguard-attendant if we could pull some sunbeds forward towards the water on the cement landing so that we could sit in the sun there. The answer was no. The landing had just been recemented and wasn't dry. Also, we had to purchase bathing towels for €5 !
With these unexpected inconveniences, I would at least expect a free towel, but no.
We borrowed floating noodles and some swim shoes and swam along the side of the rusty metal skeleton which were the remains of the pier.

We all slept great and breakfast was lovely but a big warning for the metal skeleton! It kind of ruined the view.

Courteous staff. Private beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (water entrance is stony - don’t forget your swimming shoes!). Lawn for sunbathing. Rather close to the railway station. We booked a room with city view and got a complimentary sea view from the bathroom.
In 2017, the pier is unavailable (see the photo). Beach towels are 5 euro per day. Despite the air conditioning, it was compilcated to maintain a comfortable air humidity and temperature in the room.

Good afternoon Alexander P.,
thank you for your review.

We are happy that you enjoyed our 3 star hotel. We have a nice private beach and a terrace with lawn set with umbrellas and sunbeds to allow our guests to enjoy the sun and the sea .
The mentioned pier is not available at the moment due to bureaucratic reasons which are independent from our will. We hope it can be set again anytime soon in next future according to what we have been told by local authorities.
Nevertheless sunbeds and access to the sea are guaranteed as well in the 2 nice locations that you appreciated.
We are so concerned about our guests that we provide for free particular shoe for rocky areas to enter into the water.
It is also possible to rent beach towels, with the hotel logo, for 5 euros ,when needed.
Our air conditioning system is brand new , together with the rest of the hotel that was totally renew 3 years ago.
If you had asked while here we could have helped in setting temperature according to your desire.
