I have just returned from a three night stay at this premises. Although set in the beautiful Tuscan hills this accommodation leaves a lot to be desired.

The rooms are dated and shabby, and generally substandard from what we expected to receive for the price we paid. When we arrived to our room we discovered the shower door was falling off and there was no hot water. The furniture is old and basic with zero charm. The rooms definitely need a make over. The toiletries were not replenished and when the room was cleaned the towels were taken away with no replacement.
The hairdryer was practically unusable and no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

The food was canteen quality and seemed to be recycled each day. The staff seemed to feel like each request we had was a chore. The only member who appeared to be remotely helpful was the Spanish lady who assisted us with flight issues. Although they appear to offer a restaurant when we asked about lunch they seems shocked and said they would try and put something together. On our final day we arrived at breakfast 30 minutes before it was due to finish to find everything was cleared away and no staff to be seen.

All in all nice scenery but I highly recommend driving by and seek other accommodation.

The most beautiful wedding venue that we have ever been to! Every meal we had at Montelucci, from brunches to the wedding dinner, was superb! The resort is situated in a perfect location in the Tuscan hills with beautiful views in every direction. The villas on the grounds are charming and inlcuded all the ameneties that you could need. The pool was also a great spot to spend some time and relax. A big thank-you to the staff who were very attentive :)

We have just returned from a week's stay at this glorious fattoria nestled amidst abundant tuscan hills - Nature at it's finest with scented flora, red bursting poppies, elegantly poised cypress trees fringing the driveway and the most euphoric peacefulness and tranquility.

We stayed in an appartment for 4 which was rustic and beautifully decorated with excellent amenities, an outdoor dining area and sumptuous views of a magnificent pool and canvas of wondrous green landscape.

The breakfast was adequate to keep us sustained on our travels and the dining room which was once a mill was both interesting and wonderful in it's stone clad decor. Views to die for from the large windows.

The staff were fabulous and very accommodating and massive thanks go to Giovanni who was always on hand to help with everything, so much so that he stayed up till we arrived back in the evening to ensure our safe return. Elena on the front desk was a bundle of delightfulness in her disposition and assistance, in planning our itinerary with insider tips that can only be found from local recommendation.

We also enjoyed a delicious wine tasting afternoon - rich fulfilling chianti accompanied by the best smoked italian meats and a variety of the finest cheeses.

It was idyllic lounging around the well equipped pool area drenched in sunshine and regenerated from the abundant clean oxygen levels from the ubiquitous surroundings of nature.

Make sure you check out the stupendous villa which is part of the estate.

We are still living the dream of being there and are planning on when we can return.

N.B You will need to hire a car and after the initial drive up the dirt track you soon settle with your bearings.

A divine slice of heaven on earth. Highly recommend for all those who truly appreciate immersion with nature and nature's sounds, fresh air and away from the crowds.

Florence is only a 45 minute drive away so you can enjoy the best of both worlds and take the provincial roads for the scenic drives to Pienza, Montepulciano, Giaole, Panzano, not forgetting to stop off at the multiple cantinas for some of the best wine tasting and local produce to buy.

A most memorable 50th celebration for my sister

Thanks and regards to all from the 4 ladies

This is the second time that we decided to spend our holidays in Montelucci and as always it was one of the best holidays of our lives! They've recently done renovations on their rooms so furniture is even better than last year, their restaurant amazing as always and the service outstanding. They had a wedding during our stay but as we were in a house far away from the Villa we didn't had any noise. The location, close to the A1 exit but in the middle of nature, their landscape, their wines, the lovely swimming pool and the horses, everything contributes to spend relaxing day just thinking of what to visit and what to eat after breakfast!! I can surely recommend this place to families with children as they also have a playground that they can enjoy.

Room Tip: Rooms in the villa are nice and totally renovated while apartments a bit more rustic but you can use kitchen

My husband and I were married at Agriturismo Montelucci in September, 2016. When we first visited the location in October, 2015, we knew it was the perfect location for us to have our destination wedding. It is truly a beautiful, rustic, and elegant agriturismo with an authentic Tuscan feel. It is very well kept, and has gorgeous views of the Tuscan hills with olive groves and vineyards. The property managers Claudia and Francesco were so helpful, friendly and generous; it truly has a warm, inviting and family feel to it. We stayed a total of three times at Montelucci during every season throughout the wedding planning process, and it was great every time. The on-Site catering is also amazing, and it made our wedding planning process very easy. We booked Montelucci for 90 guests for four days, and we received nothing but positive feedback from everyone. Especially on our wedding day, Montelucci far exceeded our expectations - from setting up the decor, tables and projector, to the amazing appetizer spread, to the gorgeous wedding cake covered in fresh fruit - it was truly the best weekend of our lives, and we really have this amazing venue to thank for it. THANK YOU again Claudia and Francesco - you two are spectacular, and we will definitely be returning next year for our 1 year anniversary to celebrate! We will be visitors for life! :)
