Solo get away: Beautiful resort at the end with a great snorkeling reef, no need to go elsewhere to snorkel. The resort has a very chill, quiet ambiance and great friendly staffs, Will definitely come back. No better time than island time.

Located on the best part of the beach, and the best snorkeling. The dive center will give you snorkeling gear and fins.
They were a little pricey on the diving excursions, $50 per person. If you walk down the beach you can get same dive for $40 pp. Rooms are super spacious, but if your in a jungle suite beware the walk down is long and there is barely any lighting at night. We had to use our cell phones for a flashlight or we would have bit the dust!
The pool here is amazing! The best pool on the beach in the area for sure! Swim up bar and great priced drinks! $5-$8 !!

Great place to relax!
FYI breakfast is unlimited. You HAVE to ask for fresh cooked bacon. They dont offer it. I had 3-4 orders every morning, was so good!!!

Room tip: Ask for ice. You have a fridge and glasses. Walkable to the local liquor store! Outdoor shower is great!

We loved Roatan and were very glad we chose this property. The housekeeping was fantastic, the property was well maintained and the restaurant was very good. The snorkeling right off the beach was great. Best of all was the helpful staff particularly Westal (sp?) who went above and beyond to help us when we had a bad experience with a tour operator.

Grand Roatan was the perfect getaway that my boyfriend and I wanted! The resort was beautiful, the staff was so amazing, the food was terrific and the location was the most perfect place. We would walk out right into the coral reef where we could snorkel and swim. Just absolutely beautiful spot! I would highly recommend to anyone considering going to Roatan. Diving was such an amazing experience! I got certified for the open water dive there and it was amazing!

Excellent overall. Clean, spacious two bedroom condo right on the beach. Not too crowded despite warnings about cruise ship day visitors. Good seafood especially the Garifuna soup. Helpful and friendly staff. Plenty of activities including some amazing snorkeling just feet from your door.
