“Beautiful Cottage, Beautiful Beach”
Reviewed 1 April 2016 for a stay in November 2015

Had an amazing time staying here with my girlfriends. The renovation at Lavender Cottage was high spec and there was plenty of from for all 8 of us, including a massive bathroom and beautiful garden. The attention to detail and the amenities added a special touch.
Mundesley is beautiful too, was great to come back here after a lovely day out.
Thank you again for a lovely stay and for Suzie for running around and making our stay rememberable before we even got there.

“Fantastic house & wonderfully thoughtful owners who made us feel so welcome.”

To arrange our break the owners communication was fantastic from the start, very informative and welcoming. The cottage was incredibly well equipped and it really felt v homely. Our puppy was also welcome which was a big factor for us. The location was was a bit more remote than we're used to and I would have been very happy to relax at the cottage more but the children liked to go out visiting so we did plenty of that too! The local beach was beautiful and we found a good variety of places to eat or get a takeaway. Lots of local information at the cottage to help us, Bewilderwood was a brilliant day out! All in all we really enjoyed this break made very easy by the wonderful owners and we've recommended to cottage to lots of people since. I'm still envious of the wonderful bathroom! Thank you.

“Beautifully furnished and appointed holiday cottage in North Norfolk”

We had a great 3 days staying at Lavender Cottage, really enjoyed the 3 floors of space and lovely, comfortable furnishings. This is a perfect place for 2 families with small children with its 5 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and large garden. It's only 5 minutes walk to huge empty beaches and all the local amenities - shops, pubs etc are walking distance. We were grateful for the Welcome Pack of goodies including fresh milk, butter and bread, as well as treats. The host is very good at communicating and texts you when the property is ready, so we were able to go a few hours earlier. Highly recommend this is a holiday get-away any time of year.

“Lucky to stumble on this gem”
Reviewed 15 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Being local just wanted a short break by the sea with friends and lavender cottage was a great choice. Being only recently put up for rent .. It is well situated on the edge of the village and a short stroll took us to the beach for long walks

The welcome pack was unexpected and made us feel very welcome
The house was beautifully and lovingly decorated and felt like a home from home, it had everything we needed the kitchen felt and looked brand new and was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay . There were three televisions in case we could not get out or to catch up on the news in the evening ..
We were close to Cromer so treated ourselves to the end of the pier show ... It was only a ten minute drive away? And getting back late it was nice for us to get into the comfortable beds
The five bedrooms were all spacious and the house seemed very large spread over three stories ......
The garden was well cared for with a large decked area with Barbeque and outside furniture which we made good use of in our time there
All in all I can recommend this rental property the owners were very accommodating with our late bookings...

“Dream holiday home in a great location for exploring North Norfolk”

I was searching for a very last minute family break this summer in Norfolk and it must have been my lucky day! I was presented with ‘New on the Market’ Lavender Cottage, Mundesley. This is a handful of cottages I viewed online at a short space of time and I can honestly say Lavender Cottage, Mundesley is the one that stands out most!

It is beautifully decorated and is truly a special holiday home. No expense has been spared on this cottage as the owners have tastefully decorated and furnished their cottage to a very high spec with all mod cons. Just imagine moving into a brand new home! All the essential equipment are provided for a very relaxing stay. It has plenty of space for a family of 10(mixture of adults and children) to move around within the home. Very generous garden space for the kids to run wild and comfy seating area perfect for a BBQ.

Lavender Cottage is very conveniently located for getting anywhere in Norfolk. Mundesley Village is roughly 15 minutes walk away and their beach is much more quieter, sandier and family friendly than nearby Cromer which can be reached by car in 10 minutes.

I cannot find anything negative to fault at this holiday home, you really have to see it to believe it and I can only recommend you try your luck to book Lavender Cottage when visiting Norfolk. We are very fortunate to stay at Lavender Cottage Mundesley and I wish Suzanne and Rob the very best for the future! Keep up the good work! Be sure to look them up on their webpage and social media platforms :)
