Everybody went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, making space for us for emergency accommodation even when all rooms were booked out. Thank you so much
Would 100% recommend all travellers call in for a meal and drink.

We stayed in the hotel rooms behind the pub for 3 days waiting for our camper trailer to get recovered, and with 6 little kids we tried to keep out of everyone's hair, however, the staff made us feel like family and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We were blown away with the hospitality of the staff and cannot speak highly enough of this amazing country pub!

We called in for a quick beer and left three hours later after having a great hamburger and chips, and a few beers. No phones allowed in the pub only allowed to talk to bar person, other patrons or each other. Some funny signs about, and don't forget to put some money in the parking metre( ha ha). Love this pub

We camped in our Winnebago in the grassy back yard. The cost is a donation to the Flying Doctor. There's not much going on in town - the pub is the focal centre. HUGE (REALLY HUGE) meals make great value for money.

Room Tip: If you don't like BIG meals - order a single steak and two sets of cutlery for a couple.

Friendly helpful staff in all areas, typical country pub-style meal (huge, tasty and with all the trimmings), room comfortable, clean and well-set out in a quiet location, under-cover parking. Highly recommend.
