This is a good place to spend some time in relaxation. The garden is well maintained. The musical fountain in the evenings is an attraction. Otherwise also the garden is maintained with good lightings and fountains etc. Unfortunately we can see the dam only from a distance as all dams have been closed for visitors due to security reasons.

The garden is a nice place to spend some time after visiting the ruins of Hampi. The sun set is very beautiful.

Not worth wasting your time.. Nothing much to see. Badly maintained fountains are an eyesore. Yes, the lawns are not that bad, but still its not worth taking time to reach that place. It could be made into a much better experience.

This is one of places that you may want to visit if you have time. It is about 10 kms from Center of Hospet. You can park you car about a kilometer from the dam and walk up to the dam. If you are not the walking kind, there is a bus. There is a large reservoir created by the dam. On the other side is a garden. There is a light and sound show at 6:45 PM. If you haven't seen a large dam it is worth a visit. If you have seen a few large Dam it is like any other.

Budget 1 hour for the visit to the Dam.
