My friend and I went to Santorini for a wedding and we stayed for nearly two weeks in this villa and had a lovely time. All the rooms are right by the pool and they clean them each day. They have a fridge, a tv and a kettle too. There was enough room to hang clothes. The bathroom was decent enough with a shower - although we did have to hold it because it didn't stay up properly - but this didn't bother us.

The pool was lovely with sunbeds around the pool to relax on. The town of Messaria is a 15/20 minute walk and has restaurants, 3 supermarkets, a bakery, furniture shop and tattoo shop - we liked it because it was not too busy, unlike the main town, Fira. You can get a bus to the main town, Fira from there if you wish. costs 1.80 and takes about 10 minutes. Alternatively, if you turn right out of the villa you can make your way to the other side of the island (takes about 20 minutes) and visit Senor zorba - although quite touristy, it has beautiful mexican food and wonderful views. Not too pricey but a little more than the local food.

The family at the villa were also extremely helpful in providing transport options and also ideas on what to do.

I really enjoyed my time here and felt at home in this place.

Thank you for giving us a lovely place to stay in Santorini.

My wife and i went to Santorini for our sons wedding. We stayed at the villa danezis in messaria.
The rooms are basic but very clean and are typical for the region.
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is perfect to use as a base. But you really need to hire a car or scooter to get around. Santorini is unbelievably beautiful but has lots and lots of hills and steps. The weather is fantastic.

A nice and calm hotel, with great service. The taxi never arrived the morning I was leaving for the ferry, and so the man who owns the place drove me to the port himself, insisting on doing it for free. You should rent a car/motorcycle while staying here, it's far to the nearest store. Besides from that, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The rooms in this hotel are spacious, clean and comfortable. However, the location sets some limits and you really SHOULD rent a car/motorbike/atv in order to move around the island unless you are ready to walk 10-15 minutes to Mesaria center everytime you need something, even water. From the center you can take the bus to Fira/Oia but it doesn't go that often and can be a bit of a hassle. The staff are friendly and will happily arrange vehicle rentals for guests. As the rooms are relatively cheap I consider it a good value for money.

This place was a great stay for a couple nights. We arrived very late into Santorini around 2am and they were absolute fine with this. We called and checked in smoothly and were served a nice coffee and cake to start the day every morning. We then dipped into the really well kept pool for a cool off before spending most of our day touring/quad biking the hills to the vineyards, beaches and view points. The owners really looked after, allowed us to check out and leave out bags to pick up later. They booked us a taxi (note these are mostly if not all fixed price on the island) to our next accommodation in Imerovigli. Thanks for your great hospitality!
