“Beautiful backyard”
Reviewed 24 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

Six of us stayed at the Meaford Country home for two nights while we visited friends. The house is within walking distance of downtown Meaford and a good place from which to explore the Blue Mountains. The house is located at the end of a street and has a awesome and huge backyard with a fire pit as well as a deck with a barbeque. There are chairs provided by the fire pit. The house is as depicted in the pictures. The outside picture of the house is taken from the backyard. The kitchen has everything one needs. There are three bedrooms upstairs with 5 beds. The air conditioner is a window unit upstairs. The driveway belongs to the neighbour so you park in front of the house. The house suited our needs for the weekend but I can see how some may prefer a place that is a little less "tired". The owner was a pleasure to work with-he answered all of our questions quickly.

Management Response
25 Jun 2016
The house started life out as a barn over 140 years ago, and that is its charm. It has all new electrical, plumbing, heating, refinished flooring and painted walls/ceilings, new kitchen and bathrooms and shower in the last 5 years, except for the 1940s claw foot tub, but that's a good thing. As the reviewer says, the pictures are accurate, so that's your best bet to decide if this is the place for you!
