By train: The railway station is northeast of the city. From here, trains travel along the North Wales Coast Line, with travel to and from Euston Station in London every couple of hours (2-hour trip). Trains also go to and from Liverpool every 30 minutes (45-minute trip), as well as Crewe, Manchester Piccadilly, Wrexham General, and Shrewsbury. By bus: Regular buses service travels in from Birmingham, Liverpool, and even Victoria Coach Station in London. Check National Express for schedules and fares.By car: If you’re driving in from London, take M1 north to M6 (near Coventry). Continue up the M6 and come off at Junction 16, and follow the A500 then A51 to Chester. (Chester is Signposted from M6 Junction 16 turn off). This route is much shorter than travelling up to M6 junction 20 and following M56/M53.
