When staying in Kuala Lumpur, many visitors ask the question 'Which hotel has the best view of the Petronas Towers?'.
The answer is actually most hotels, especially those not too close to the Petronas Towers, have a view of sorts. Remember that many hotels will also have views of the KL Menara or KL Tower which whilst not as iconic is also very beautiful.
The hotel closest to the Petronas Towers is the Mandarin Oriental [5*], but as it is so close the rooms just do not have much of a view.
The Traders hotel [4*] is across KLCC park from Petronas Towers / Suria KLCC mall and the garden / park view rooms have just about the best views of the Petronas Towers. The City view rooms do not have views of the Petronas Towers.
Hotels that are a few minutes walk further away will have rooms that offer a view or a partial view, this include [check TA review sites and hotel booking sites for better location information].
North of the Petronas Towers - Nikko, Nomad SuCasa, Zon All Suites, Apple Boutique, PNB, Placin - Binjai 8 Residence KLCC and Intercontinental will have some rooms with limited views.
South of the Petronas Towers - Impiana, Grand Hyatt, Ascott, KLCC Luxury suite, Equtorial, E&O suites, Pacific Regency, Park Royal Serviced suites and Vipod may have rooms with limited views.
South / East of the Petronas Towers and in Bukit Bintang area - Westin, Pavillion Mall Residences, Prince, Novotel, Royal Chulan, Royal Bintang, and Berjaya, may have rooms with limited views.
West of the Petronas Towers - Corus [has balconies], Maya, Renaisance, Pacific Regency, Shangri-la, Crown Regency, raser Place, Ammar Luxury Suite at Parkview, KL101 at Marc Residences, Golden Triangle Suites and Parkview will have rooms with limited views. New World KL and Sheraton Imperial has some great views from some rooms that face the Towers.
Hotels that are a bit further away or slightly out of the city will have rooms that offer spectacular views over the city.
If a balcony is essential then consider serviced apartments or residences.
