Portsmouth and the near by towns still has things to do, even during the winter. In March, Dover puts on a St. Paddy's Run Before You Crawl 5K Road Race and Pub Crawl. Fall Festivals: The Seacoast Fringe Festival, Columbus Day Weekend. Downtown Portsmouth has its own yearly version of the international Fringe Perfomance Festival.
