Dip into a saltwater infinity pool overlooking the ocean, or snorkel and dive at the beach if you prefer. We spent our silver wedding anniversary and 50th birthday here. It was absolutely fantastic, swimming in the sea and pool, relaxing, live music, very good breakfast and food, all the staff at Voile Bleue and Le Skipper were so warm and friendly, it was an unforgettable stay! Highly recommended! Cleanliness: not an issue, everything was perfect! 👍

We visited Hotel Voile Blue for 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff and the service at this hotel is excellent and the facilities are equally good. The hotel is very clean and is kept that way throughout. The bed is very comfortable and bedding of very good quality. Towels are refreshed daily without asking. We stayed in a studio which facilitates self catering although we did not bother much. The prices of restuarants in the area is very well priced and within walking distance. It is very safe to walk to a restuarant at night +- 200 m even for a lady. The hotel has it’s own restuarant but we opted for a bigger variety and visited some neighbouring reatuarants as well. This hotel offers very good value for money and is the perfect alternative to the high end over priced hotels in Mauritius.

It was a very nice hotel. The rooms were large, clean and the photos correspond to reality. Breakfast was served, a choice between continental and english - the portions were sufficient for me. The dinners were great, the selection was large (fish, meat, pasta). I need a gluten free food and the hotel tried to give me as much choice as possible - which was great despite the restrictions. There was friendly and helpfull staff. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely hotel in a great location with friendly, helpful staff.. My friend and I have just returned from a 12 night stay at the hotel. It's a lovely boutique hotel with just 22 rooms set right on the beach with amazing views. We stayed on bed and breakfast basis and the choice of full English or continental was a perfect start to the day, sitting in the restaurant overlooking the ocean. The room was spacious with a kitchenette and was kept spotless by the cleaners each day. A few reviews have mentioned there is no access to the sea directly outside the hotel but the amazing views more than compensate for the fact that it is only a 2 minute walk to the right to enter the sea, or a short drive ( or longer walk as we did :)) to lovely beaches at Trou aux Biches and Mon Choisy. We didn't hire a car but most days we walked along the coast in both directions and were glad we had chosen to stay at Voile Bleue rather than one of the big impersonal hotels that are dotted further along. We booked some private day tours with Cindy which we thought we good value as we chose our own itinerary and we also caught the local buses into Port Louis. As two females we never once felt worried or encountered anyone on the whole island that was anything other than friendly and welcoming. There are a few restaurants within walking distance of the hotel if you fancy a change from eating in the hotel and although we tried them all our favourite was Sindra's snack where the food was always spot on. All in all we had a fabulous stay in Mauritius and would like to say a special thanks to Yanish, Gerald and the rest of staff for making us feel so welcome.

Friendly hotel staff. The place is as advertised. Rooms are huge and clean with self catering ability. Value for money, did not dissapoint. The breakfast is continental and full English not buffet style but the quantity of food is more than enough. The half board option comes with Dinner. The menu is decent and you will get to learn your favorite options. You can also order from the full menu at the cost of the meal. Drinks are not included in half board. Restaurant staff is very friendly and accommodating as well as pay attention to guest likes. There is a mini market and souvenir shop 5min away for snacks or water/alcohol/softdrinks There is also ATM facility about 30min walk or 10min drive away from the hotel. The Hotel uses a local business that has tourists/experience packages that are competitively priced. The local business also offers car hire that is a quick and easy process. Quality of car was great (around 5000km on the clock, all insurance and other paper work in order) A special mention for excellent service and hospitality to the hotel Host Yanish and restaurant team Gerald and Keseven
