Gastronomy, flag beaches, nature and heritage, make Bueu a must-see place for all who seek an oasis of tranquility in the Rías Baixas. Municipality very close to the capital, from which it is barely 20 km (15 minutes through the Marin ring road), Bueu has excellent communication to Vigo, through the O Morrazo corridor. Its streets and corners keep the essence of the marine town in which it has its origin. Today, the fishing port of Bajura is one of the most important in Galicia. Bueu beaches surprise the visitor for their beauty and quality. In the city center you can enjoy the bath in the beaches of Banda do Río, Pescadoira and Pitís, with the comfort that it entails.
Along the coast there are many other beaches. The octopus of Bueu, of recognized quality, shows the distinctive “Polbo de Rías” and stars in a gastronomic party in August.
